  • Jonathan Davis was a mortuary science student when he hooked up with Munky, Fieldy, and Head from California rockers LAPD and rechristened the outfit Korn in 1993. Davis led his cohorts into electrifying post-grunge nu-metal territory, gathered a loyal and substantial fanbase, and inspired a host of alt-metal and rap-metal acts. He currently brandishes a mic-stand custom designed by H.R. Giger, the man responsible for the look of cult horror movie Alien. Here's a choice Korn selection, including their legendary Pink Floyd live medley "Another Brick In the Wall (1, 2, 3)".

Not bad

good mixture of some of Korns best work but 3 covers may be a bit overkill

A good mix

Although I have not brought this collection, I own all of KoRn's albums, so know all of the songs well.

This is perhaps the best spread of songs in any KoRn compilation (Or KoRnpilation :P) I have seen, including Collect3d, and Greatest Hits: Vol 1.
I am surprised to see "Haze" in this, as it was only a special edition track on the untitled album, and is not very representative of the album. If I were making this compilation, I perhaps would not have put three covers in, (Word Up, Creep and Another Brick In The Wall) but rather, replaced one with another song, along with Oildale, from thier newest album (KoRn III: Remember Who You Are), perhaps Let The Guilt Go.

I am intruged with "Creep," as the only time I have seen them do it, is on thier MTV Unplugged album, and I am unsure as to whether songs of that would be used on here. It's a good song, but I think representing that side of KoRn would best be done with Hollow Life (Untouchables). (EDIT: Just played the sample, sounds like the one from MTV Unplugged.)

Great Mix, perfect for anyone who doesn't already hold the full set of KoRn.
