It doesn't matter that the weather's rubbish — there must be something good in the water up north, because the supreme quality of Manchester bands is an ongoing marvel. Don't really get it, I mean, just because they're from Manchester doesn't mean your going to like all of them. The Smiths, Take That, Chemical Brothers ... Oh well, at least it shows Manchester as better than bloomin' Liverpool. Oh, and am I the only person who's never heard of any of the bands in Deep Cuts except World of Twist?
