    • 1. "I Don't Know Why (I Love You)" by Stevie Wonder: "One of those little-known Stevie Wonder songs that’s just amazing. It’s just a great piece of work."
    • 2. "Pass Out" by Tinie Tempah: "This was the first time I’d heard a U.K. hip-hop track and thought, ‘Wow, this could cross the pond into America and compete with the sounds and beats they’ve got over there’."
    • 3. "Leaders of Men" by Joy Division: "I saw the film Control, and it changed everything for me, my whole attitude towards Joy Division. I really love the bass line at the start, and it’s a song I play a lot on my iPod."
    • 4. "Still D.R.E." by Dr. Dre: "My all-time favourite summer hip-hop anthem. This track makes me want to wind the windows down and get the hydraulics out, crack open a couple of Coronas and limes and just bounce."
    • 5. "Changes" by 2Pac: "The beat is very addictive and the sentiment of the track, I think, is beautiful."
    • 6. "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day: "It’s one of those emotional songs, very stripped-down and acoustic, and it affected me emotionally."
    • 7. "Hey There Delilah" by Plain White T's: "Another acoustic track. I love stripped-down, basic songs."
    • 8. "54-46, That's My Number" by Toots & The Maytals: "A big song, featured in the film This Is England. The soundtrack of this film was amazing, but this song stood out."
    • 9. "Paparazzi (Live)" by Xzibit: "The rap song that got me rapping, that showed me the way I wanted my rap music to sound in terms of production. What I mean by that is the sampling of classical music. For me, the best hip-hop has always sampled classical music."
