Literal And Wrong

Post punk doesn't mean music recorded after punk, it means music inspired by but moving on from punk, with an emphasis on experiment, and newness. This selection is a mess. A lot is purely punk (The Damned and others), a lot is college rock, some is pub rock, some is new wave and some (Patti Smith, Ian Dury) is almost prepunk. Rubbish!

Wot, no Swell Maps?

I agree with Rachel. Whoever put this heap together needs to Rip It Up and Start Again

Same old....

Agree with Rachel too......as with nearly every compilation on here - wrong, wrong, wrong! I do like looking through them though - remind me of some old tunes that I haven't heard for 30 years....groan! Make your own compilations - ignore the plastic Itunes ones. Its more fun browsing around for your own.
