The Saturdays

Minxing into the void left by Girls Aloud, the Saturdays recruited its five-strong ranks from the cream of budding theatrical, rock, stage school, X Factor and teen pop talent, conjuring four Top Ten singles from debut album Chasing Lights (2008), and moving onwards and upwards from that confident, sassy start. With these Essentials, we chart the group's inexorable and glittering rise, from the Yazoo-sampling first single "If This Is Love," through their bouncy cover of Depeche Mode's "Just Can't Get Enough" and their 2010 Flo Rida collaboration "Higher". To fill out the picture, we've added a handful of live cuts, including a sweet acoustic treatment of "Beggin'", and "Sorry", a 2006 solo release by the posse's Irish representative, Una Healy.
