2011 ABCP YEAR-IN-REVIEW | It seems like just last year we didn't put our year-end show up until several days after the year was over! And it was! And now it is again! As always with these year-end shows, we've got a list of nominee-nominees ... that is to sa, things we thought were among the best the year had to offer and were deserving of mention. ABCP Episode #139 | Boy, this is a weird one. And not in an especially memorable way, except that we do break into Bobby Darin's Beyond the Sea partway through. Evie's sick as this, this, this and this this week, and didn't have the energy to both make her list AND do the show, so we did the show just based off of Aaron's list, with Evie never having to exercise her veto power except for the categories where Image's The Mission #4 won stuff, because she hasn't been reading that. But she should be, as should all of you, because it's good, but I don't want to tell you what it's about because that would ruin some of the surprise. Also FF, Catwoman, Strange Adventures and X-Men win, while Green Lantern and Secret Avengers lose in ways that are trite and goofy, respectively. Evie and Aaron are a husband and wife team who are smart, funny and talented at making great talk radio. And they're doing a podcast about comics.
So if you lik comics, and you like things that are good, then you should definitely check this out.

After being introduced to this podcast by the venerable War Rocket Ajax podcast during their recent "rap beef war", the Awesomed By Comics Podcast has become one of the podcasts that I regularly listen to. Evie and Aaron bring us the things in comics that they've liked, hated, or have been surprised by every week. This show's light, fluffy and enertaining, and made me interested in comics again. However, take caution if you enjoy DC's Blackest Night crossover: Evie and Aaron don't, and are quite vocal in their dislike.

The ONLY thing that would make them awesomer is if they were on the podcasting panel at NYC Comic-Con 2010.
