The Celticunderground Podcast 171 - Ice Cream, Jelly & Jam Tarts | This week Eddie is joined by Antony Murray. Antony usually pops up when there's a comedy festival in the offing and this week is no exception - tickets only £8. The guys record the podcast an hour after our brilliant victory over Hearts and they take great delight when discussing the performance. Straining to be heard over Eddie's increasingly decrepit computer droning away in the background the topics include the performance of Samaras, the potential within the side and the importance of being on the post at corners. Next the guys look into their crystal balls and picture a place beyond sight and sound - a place where Rangers no longer exist. What would it look like? Would Scottish football survive? And why would we all want to join golf clubs? Finally they discuss the forthcoming game against ICT and wonder just how many goals we will put past them. And as if that's not enough, The Human Torpedo returns along with Mogwai for another tale from the Celtic wiki -"Jimmy The Gent." | 9 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 170 - Rangers, We Find You Very Amusing | This week Harry Brady joins Eddie for a bumper edition of the podcast. Together they take a look back at the semi final victory over Falkirk. They discuss the recent transfer window and whether we have come out of it stronger or weaker. And they discuss the frankly fantastic goings on down Ibrox way. An hour of Celtic and an hour of Rangers. Something for everyone. | 1 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 169 - How A Well Run Club Should Operate | This week Mark Cooper joins Eddie and together they have a chat about the previous game against St Mirren and a look ahead to the match against Falkirk. Yes, yes we know it should have been out ages ago but real life kept getting in the way. Suffice to say the middle bit contains a very clear model that all clubs should follow if they wish to become successful. Particularly during this current transfer window. | 30 1 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 168 - Peter Lawwell, The Movie | This week Lachiemor joins Eddie and together they take a look back at the recent Dundee United game. They discuss the team Neil Lennon selected and the nervous atmosphere that seemed to overpower the stands as the second half wore on. They discuss the form of the players and welcome the return of Kris Commons to the side. Next they take a look at the transfer window and discuss whether the squad needs to be reduced. The best way to run a football club is commented on and it looks like Celtic might not be that far off from being spot on. They finish by looking ahead to the St Mirren game and ask whether we can go one better than Rangers by winning at New St Mirren Park. Krys joins us again with another of his excellent reports from the most recent Celtic Graves event - this time celebrating the life of Neil McCallum, the scorer of the first Celtic goal. | 18 1 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 167 - Rangers? Captain Kirk Says "Let Them Die!" | Two guests for the price of one this week. First up Mark Cameron from the John Thomson Memorial Committee joins us for a quick recap of the events which the committee organised to celebrate the 80th anniversary of John's death. Then we move from the sublime to the ridiculous as Harry Brady joins Eddie and together they talk absolute mince for the best part of an hour. The recording is a mishmash of in jokes, twitter references and the occasional reference to Celtic thrown in as a nod to the purpose of the entire enterprise. It's one of those podcast were Eddie gives up trying to edit it and just throws it out there to get it off his hands. Not exactly a classic. | 11 1 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 166 - Lostbhoys 2012 | It's time for the annual Celtic Podcast crossover. This week Eddie is joined by Jamie and Chris from theLostbhoys podcast and together they produce a rambling effort which really doesn't do justice to the otherwise fairly decent material both podcasts usually offer. Basically the three of them just talk rubbish for 2 hours. Fortunately this is only 1 hour's worth but the bad news is that the second half of this year's nonsense can be found on the Lostbhoys website. The good news is that we only do this once a year. | 9 1 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 165 - Previewing The Good Guys V Rangers in El Glasigo | In this latest edition of the podcast Michael Dolan joins Eddie to discuss the forthcoming match against Rangers. Together they take a look back at the performance against Kilmarnock and try to second guess what will happen on Wednesday night. Predictions are made and both Michael and Eddie make themselves hostages to fortune by confidently stating that it's in the bag. The guys also take the time to praise some of the new managers who have joined the SPL this year and to comment on the willingness of sides to try and actually play football. They then contrast this by discussing Rangers' inability to do the same. Finally they discuss the appointment of Willie Collum as referee and his lack of spacial awareness. Now there's a drinking game for the TV audience - every time he finds himself in the road of the play take a slug of whatever you happen to be guzzling. As if all this isn't enough Krys from the Lostbhoys brings us the audio from the recent Celtic Graves Society event in honour of Tom Maley, one of the First Eleven. Hosted by Dianogah on a windy day this provides an insight into the life and times of the first man to score a hattrick for Celtic against Rangers. Here's hoping Gary Hooper listens carefully and picks up some tips. | 26 12 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 164 - UEFA For Coffee? | Once again Harry Brady joins Eddie and this time they discuss the recent fine from UEFA for illicit chanting and the subsequent banner which some fans displayed. They talk about the rights and wrongs of the singing and the potential reasons behind the banner. They discuss the place of the PLC in this and the possible actions they could have taken. The fact that politics is intrinsically linked to football and that attempts to deny this are doomed to failure is also a topic for discussion. Then they look ahead to where this seems to be going. Finally they discuss the talk of a proposed safe standing area and both agree that they are now too old and lazy to want to stand. | 26 12 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 163 - Now That's What I Call Celtic History... Vol. 1 | One of the best features of the podcast is the The Human Torpedo and his tales from the Celtic wiki. In fact some might say that's the only decent feature of the podcast but those folk are all ugly and nobody talks to them at parties. There's something about The Human Torpedo's voice which combines brilliantly with Mogwai's The Sun Smells Too Loud" to bring the history of Celtic to life and to tell stories of the past which would otherwise have been forgotten. In fact they combined so brilliantly the Mogwai track is now a regular on the Celtic Park tannoy system. And from almost the day and hour that the tales from the Celtic Wiki started we've had folk asking for a compilation and finally we've decided to relent. So here it is, in a K-tel stylee, THT and the Mogwai guys combine to present the best of the Celtic Wiki for 2011. If you get a chance can you go onto Twitter and thank the Human Torpedo and Mogwaiband for their efforts? | 26 12 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 162 - Offensive Politics | This time out Harry and Eddie show their complete ignorance of the law. They attempt to comprehend the new Offensive Behaviour bill and if this is anything to go by they fail miserably. They discuss the reasons behind the formation of the bill and the potential impact. they question the wisdom of Police Officers calling for new laws rather than enforcing the existing ones and they ask what does this bill say about Scottish society? Harry also has a wee rant about his mobile phone. On a brighter note The Human Torpedo returns along with Mogwai for another tale from the Celtic wiki -"Handsome Tom." The Celticunderground Podcast 161 - Football. Marvellous Isn't it? | The podcast returns just in time for the traditional "giving of ipods" time of year. Harry Brady joins Eddie and together they take a look back at the events of the past couple of weeks. As you can imagine there is a lot to talk about. So much so in fact that the podcast has been split into three with this 1st one being all about the performance of the team on the park. The guys discuss the form of each player in the squad and try to explain the recent upswing in our form. Particular mention is made to some players who have previously come in for criticism and we have a unique set of circumstances where Harry actually takes the time to praise Fraser Forster. Remember if you're giving an ipod or mp3 player to your loved one why not preinstall the podcast on it so they have no choice but to listen? It's free but they don't need to know that. | 22 12 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 160 - Offensive Chatting | St Anthony joins Eddie this week and together they take a look about on the matches against Rennes and Motherwell. They discuss the upturn in our form and they discuss some of the players who have made the difference. Next Eddie asks St Anthony just what was he was thinking about when he was belting out all those illicit songs at the Rennes game and the guys discuss the recent "offensive chants" silly nonsense. They talk the subject to death and no doubt, as seems to be the fashion these days, they will offend someone with their viewpoint. Finally they take a look ahead to the match against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. | 17 11 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 159 - A Lifelong Love Affair with Celtic | John Cairney, author of The Sevenpenny Gate, joins Eddie this week and together they take a look back at over 70 years of Celtic history. John tells us his early memories of following the club. He describes the sights, sounds and smells that made up the match day experience in 1939. He talks of great players from the past such as Delaney and Miller and he tells us which of today's squad would be their equal. He talks of his brother's time training with the club and the misunderstanding that led to Jimmy McGrory showing him the door. John tells us of some of his experiences in the sixties as a "Celebrity" Celtic fan including his vital role in ensuring the bhoys swept all before them in 1967. An hour long conversation that barely scratches the surface regarding the numerous ancedotes to be found in John's new book. And to finish Krys from the Lostbhoys brings us the full audio from the recent ceremony in honour of Johnny Doyle. | 2 11 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 157 - Celtic: Time for One Member, One Vote | After the soul crushing defeat to Hearts Harry Brady posted his 15 step plan to revive Celtic. This week on the podcast he expands on his ideas and tries to address some of the questions it has raised. He talks about the need for a change in the CEO office, the value in having a genuine director of football and his ideas for an overhaul of the scouting set up. He also takes us through the one idea that seems to have caught the imagination - the fan membership scheme. He discusses how this might work in practice and the costs and benefits of such a scheme. Oh aye and the guys look back on that defeat against Hearts and try to figure out what the heck happened. They also allude to a rumour about one of the players that now seems to be common knowledge. That's what happens when you take ages to edit the podcast. | 10 10 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 149 - A Short Chat In A Noisy Pub | Fresh from their interview with Brian Dempsey (Podcast 150 - due tomorrow) Eddie and Harry nip into a nearby boozer for a wee bit of lunch and a chat about the recent games Celtic have been involved in. Unfortunately the noise in the pub was just too much at points and an entire section of the podcast had to be cut. Which is a pity because the guys discussed the "offensive" debate without a retweet in sight. So instead of all that what you have hear is about 30 minutes of the two of them trying to make themselves heard above the din of the afternoon drinkers. The Celticunderground Podcast 133 - Just Can't Get Enough Of The Thai Tims | Paul and Ian from the Good Child Foundation join Eddie this week and after a short discussion regarding the events at Tynecastle they move onto much happier topics such as the work of the foundation and the joys of cheating at baseball. They discuss the impact the foundation has upon the lives of children with Downs in Thailand and the difference doing something as simple as singing Celtic songs has made. They remember Reamonn Gormley and talk with fondness of his time at the school and the impact he had upon the kids. Then they discuss the new single which you can buy from itunes or napster or emusic and the improvements they hope to make to the school with the proceeds. If you haven't bought a copy yet go do it now and then come back to us. Eddie then finishes with a rambling piece on Neil Lennon which doesn't really say anything new but he felt better having got it off his chest. If you don't want to know the score look away now. Also if you don't want to hear Harry swear don't listen. In fact if you don't want to waste your time being depressed quite substantially don't listen. And to think we had some good stuff to talk about as well and we ended up just mumping and moaning about the result tonight. ExplicitThe Celticunderground Podcast 129 - The Sandy McMahon Service and Eddie & Harry Go To The Game | A wee extra podcast this week. It starts quite positively with an audio report from the recent Celtic Graves society event which celebrated the life of Sandy McMahon. Kris of the Lostbhoys website provides the commentry and argues with himself over the number of goals Sandy scored. Next up is one for the hardcore only. Eddie and Harry show themselves to be the Waldorf and Statler of the timternet as they record their thoughts throughout the recent League cup final. After an overwhelming response from the masochists in the listenership we have relented and it's now available. It runs from about the 30th to the 1h 32nd minute so fastforward if you want to avoid reliving the horror. On the other hand if you couldn't be at Hampden it does give you a flavour of what it would be like to sit next to two bampots who think they know it all. This week the podcast includes some added content which can be accessed by scanning the barcode on the graphic attached to the mp3. Whatever the podcast equivalent of DVD extras are then that's what you've got. You'll need to download the stickybits app for your iphone or android phone. Once you have scanned the barcode you will be able to hear the man of the moment - Stephen Smith of the Rangers Supporters Trust talking about Neil Lennon on the BBC. The Celticunderground Podcast 128 - Rangers V UEFA. The RST says "Guilty!" | Michael Dolan joins Eddie this week and they discuss the breaking news that the nasty folk at UEFA have once again decided to pick on poor old Rangers. After the laughter dies down and they complete a rousing chorus of "For he's a jolly good fellow" in honour of Platini they then start to discuss the issues surrounding this news and the implications for the Govan club. They then move onto player of the month and agree that Paul McBride QC (PMQC to his friends) has been the star turn of April. They discuss in passing the latest regarding the fakeover and Eddie goes off on one regarding the role the BBC has played in this entire farce. Finally they return to Rangers and discuss the statement issued by Martin Bain. And they try hard not to burst out laughing. No, honestly they do. | 14 4 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 127 - We All Live In A Yellow Submarine | No Eddie this week as he prepares for a European scouting mission to uncover some desperately needed new blood for the podcast amongst those with a better grip of the English language and so James Kelly steps into the breach. He's joined by Tosh McLaughlin of the Villarreal Penya Celtic Submari to tell us all about the links fostered between the two clubs and their supporters in the years since our first meeting in the 2004 Uefa Cup. Tosh explains all about the social, academic and charitable dimension to the partnership, some forthcoming fundraising events in Hamilton, Carfin and Celtic Park, and the work done by supporters of both clubs to form a lasting bond, provide exchange trips for Scottish and Spanish schoolkids, and help raise money for Yorkhill Hospital and various other charitable causes. He fills us in on Villarreal's fortunes on and off the pitch in recent years, their youth set-up, and their hopes for Europa League glory this term. He explains the activities of penyas - supporters clubs to you and I - and their relationship with owner Fernando Roig Alfonso, whose investment has underpinned the club's astonishing rise from provincial minnows to Champions League contenders in little more than a decade. He makes his case to the cynics for following a 'second club' beyond Celtic, then gets down to his own experiences supporting the bhoys since the early '60s, before we finish up by bringing things back up to date and discussing our chances entering into the title run-in after the international break, starting with the game versus Inverness. He explains why he won't be the new Paddy McCourt any time soon and gives his thoughts on whether Neil Lennon's touchline ban will be a factor in results. James messes up by going on about how a home game against Caley is the ideal opportunity to rediscover top form, before realising after recording that we're actually faced with the trickier prospect of travelling north. But he's confident no-one will read this far or notice whilst they're actually listening. Anyone interested in attending the Celtic Submari fundraiser can get in touch with Tosh to make it happen at toshino@blueyonder.co.uk. Number 7 Lounge, Easter Sunday 24 April, 8pm - 1am, live music, three course meal, tickets £20, cheap at half the price and your hard-earned going to a great cause. The Celticunderground Podcast 126 - Ach Well | Antony Murray joins Eddie this week and together they take a look back at the ever so slightly disappointing match last Sunday. They put their hands up and acknowledge that it's hard to get too upset when you've just been beaten because your team weren't very good that day. They then have a meandering chat about various nonsense and finish with Eddie telling his Mark McNally story for the fourth or fifth time. | 24 3 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 125 - Stein, Summits & Suntans | Michael Dolan joins Eddie this week and together they review the unveiling of the Jock Stein statue. Eddie grudgingly accepts that John Reid is a decent orator and quickly changes the subject. The recording from the ceremony is included and it's quite interesting until you get to the actual unveiling which doesn't really lend itself well to audio. Next the guys discuss the match against Hamilton Accies and acknowledge that it's tough for the players to keep playing at the top of their game after a match against Rangers. Then they move onto discussing the recent meeting which was held with Alex Salmond, they decide that it was a complete waste of time and Eddie manages to refer back to another seventies TV double act in the process. Finally they look ahead to the match against Inverness. They review the match, discuss formations, tactics, goal scoring opportunities but most they talk about just how horrible an individual Diouf seems to be. They look at the antics of McCoist and pray to God that he is in charge at Ibrox next season. They then comment on the very special guest who was in the stand tonight - Fergus McCann (praise be his name.) The Celticunderground Podcast 123 - Rangers - Do We Get To Keep Them Next Time? | John Paul Gilmartin, the chair of the Kano Foundation, joins Eddie this week and together they take a look back at that 3-0 victory against Rangers. They marvel at the quality that seems to pepper the Celtic team these days and discuss each player in turn as they struggle to pinpoint just who is the best Celtic player. The return of the atmosphere to Celtic Park is discussed and both agree that Sunday was the best it's been in some years. A quick discussion on the frailties of the Rangers team follows and both JP and Eddie admit to quaking in their boots at the prospect of Ally McCoist taking over as Rangers manager. Not really. They then move onto discussing the work of the Kano Foundation and review it's first six months. Finally they look ahead to the Motherwell match and attempt to predict the score. The Celticunderground Podcast 122 - United, Paranoia & Rangers Again | Tony "Bananas" Hamilton joins Eddie this week and together they take a look back at the 3-1 victory against Dundee United. As seems to be the trend these days they talk formations and discuss the relative merits of the playing staff. Next they discuss Tony's new book - "Celtic Paranoia: The Laptop Loyal Diaries 2 (Honest Mistakes & Other Stories)." Tony takes Eddie through some of the more blatant incidents of media bias over the past season and a half and shows that just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't all out to get you. Finally they look ahead with some enthusiasm to the next match at Celtic Park. Rangers. Again. Eddie even finds time this week to do one of his all to infrequent mad rambly bits at the end and during this section he exposes the shocking truth behind "Penny Arcade" ... or something. Actually there's quite a musical tone to this week's podcast. He also finds time to thank the 5542 downloaders (at time or writing) of last week's podcast but strangely doesn't seem to show any love for the 5165 followers of the CU twitter account. The Celticunderground Podcast 119 - Breaking Hearts | This week the podcast is hot off the press. Harry and Eddie rush home from the fantastic victory over Hearts and gabble excitedly to each other about just how good a game it was. They review the playing performances and try to identify a man of the match but with eight or nine candidates to choose from it's not an easy task. They discuss the performance of the referee and ask just what was it that the press saw in this "Old firm splitting" Hearts team that had them being touted as potential Champions? They return to last week's comment about it being time to give Neil Lennon a decent length of contract and they look ahead to the Aberdeen games and admit that the CIS cup isn't as important as the league. The Celticunderground Podcast 117 - Twitter, Transfer Rumours & Top of the League | Harry joins Eddie once again and together they look back on the recent matches against Hibernian and Hamilton Accies. This conversation quickly leads into yet another rant concerning dodgy refereeing decisions. The guys then turn their attention onto league reconstruction and try to decide why 14 is better than 10. They discuss the recent surge in interest in Twitter and try to decide whether or not @Officialneil's debut on the social network is a good thing. Finally they have a quick look at some transfer rumours, call for Neil Lennon to be given a two year extension to his contract now and they ask why Lawwell doesn't just admit he's playing at being Director of Football? The Human Torpedo is with us once again with special tale from the Celtic Wiki - "The Dancer." The Celticunderground Podcast 116 - Beating Rangers and Drinking Heavily | It's the New Year Edition of the podcast and that means it's time for our annual bevvy session with the Lostbhoys. Chris and Jamie join Eddie once again for part one of their transatlantic get together. And as you can imagine there is only one topic of conversation - the outstanding victory over the forces of darkness on January the 2nd. The guys crack open the beers and talk about the players who made the difference, the team the manager picked, the fantastic support from the stands and the utterly rank rotten display by the opposition. And they have a fairly good time doing it to. Part two of this podcast will be available on the lostbhoys site later this week. The Celticunderground Podcast 115 - Driving Home for a Green & White Christmas | The original plan for this podcast was that a few of the guys would get together for one of the hard to hear Curry Podcasts and we'd have a look back on 2010 and talk about some of the key events from the year just gone. Unfortunately the microphone for the recorder was gubbed and not a sausage could be heard. Which was a pity as we had a strong defence of Neil Lennon, a review of the signings of the past year, an attack on John Reid and some cracking grub supplied by Koolba in the Merchant City. So in order to get this, the last podcast of the year (or the first podcast of the year depending upon where you are in the world), out to you we've pulled some content in that was used to make up podcast 116 - Jim from the Celticgraves society joins us. He takes a look back what the Society has achieved to date and looks ahead to what is to come. Listen in and you'll hear some exclusive news about the next event the Society has lined up. Next up is The Human Torpedo with another tale from the Celtic Wiki - "Green and White Christmas" And finally we have the only bit of audio that survived the night out. Eddie and St Anthony talk about the Motherwell match and look ahead to the game at Ibrox as they drive away from Parkhead. Listen closely and you can hear the lorry that almost cut them both down in their prime (or at least a couple of decades or so after their prime.) The Celticunderground Podcast 114 - Baby It's Cold Outside | With no football for the past fortnight there's only one man who could manage to fill an hour of the podcast. Yes this week we are joined once again by Harry Brady who convinced Eddie that there was more than enough to talk about in order to put a podcast out. And they almost manage it. They start with a detailed discussion of the snow and whether or not it's a bad thing that our games have been cancelled. They then move onto the latest talk of SPL reformation before Eddie drags us off course with word of this new U19 tournament which will make the club very very rich. They (briefly) talk about the disappointing result against Dundee United and then get straight out the main event - The Referee Strike Action. They discuss what the possible aims of this action could be and the likely impact of it. They review the way this has been presented in the media and, in particular the lack of balance which has been in evidence on the BBC over the past few days. Finally they look ahead to the match against ICT and wonder who will be the man in the middle? Inevitably they move onto discussing referees and the ongoing scandal at the SFA. Finally they look ahead to the upandcoming match against Aberdeen. They discuss the number of players who made their debut and they review the formation Neil Lennon put out. They then move onto discussing the burning question of the day - if Willie Collum does indeed have eyes in the back of his head does this mean he gets two sponsored pairs of specs from specsavers compared to just the one that all the other refs get? They ramble on for ages and to be honest it was a bit of nightmare trying to edit this into some sort of order. The discussion ranges from Scott Brown to Jock Brown and everything in between. As this is recorded in a curry house there may be some clanking of cutlery but that's us just showing off to the forces of darkness that we know how to use a knife and fork. | 5 8 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 100b - Battered in Braga | On a hugely deflating night our, ahem, celebration of Celtic Underground's landmark 100th podcast continues with this, technically the 101st. Or 102nd, including the lost one. Or something. The meat in 100a and 100c's sandwich. Perhaps not then. Anyhow in a wee nod to where it all began CU's James Kelly and John Madden sat down, still bemused at being asked to recollect the first handful of podcasts they put together four years ago, followed by twenty times as many they didn't. The thought of nabbing some glory on a fantastic night overall appealed to both though, but those hopes evaporated pretty quickly with comprehensive defeat in Braga. So instead it was simply a case of deep breath, lock away the razors and a hurried pact that neither would make comparisons with Artmedia Bratisla...damn. So they make comparisons with last year's European disasters and defensive horror-shows instead. They try to cling to whatever positives they can and try to put the result in context by asking just what we can realistically expect from the side in the coming months as the rebuilding continues even as competitive football gets underway. They try to figure what the team may look like the other side of the transfer window and what players can be counted upon to help Neil Lennon put a winning side together down the line. They talk about signings both rumoured and delivered. And just for a change they wonder aloud just what Scott Brown or Shaun Maloney are still here for. Things are a bit more upbeat when they take a look back on the podcast's humble beginnings. From that they lurch on in a determined but distinctly low-brow attempt to continue the historical theme of 100a, looking at the many other ways in which online Celtic supporters with the same DIY ethos are now playing a far greater part in helping write and record the club's history and their own role in it. And like many DIY efforts, they piece theirs together pretty badly. | 29 7 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 100a - If You Know Your History | As this is a special bumper edition it was decided that Eddie could finally be let out of the house and have a wee night out on his own. So he ended up touring round a graveyard. Eddie is joined by Jim and Paul from the Celtic Graves Society and together they take a wander round Dalbeth cemetery and discuss some of the vital figures in Celtic's history who are buried there. Jim and Paul explain the thinking behind setting up the Celtic Graves Society and what they hope to achieve in future. No matter how well you think you know your history and the story behind the formation of Celtic this podcast Jim and Paul know something you probably haven't heard before. It's fitting that for our 100th edition we should go way way back to where all of this started from and reconnect with names such as John Glass, Phil Murray and John Convery. As if that's not enough The Human Torpedo takes ten minutes out of planning his wedding to bring us the tale of Michael McKeown - The Original Bad Bhoy. | 25 7 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 99 - thekanofoundation.com | This week Eddie is joined by John Paul Gilmartin, the chair of the Kano Foundation. After a quick review of the recent events this preseason and an almost convincing plea for clemency for Samaras John Paul discusses the Foundation. He talks of the inspiration and the philosophy behind the Foundation, the desire to ensure that those children less fortunate have the opportunity to attend Celtic Park, the logistics behind creating a foundation of this type and what he hopes the future may bring for the foundation. He tells us about meeting Fergus McCann and the challenges the internet presents to the modern day sports journalist. We talk about his books and his future projects. We also find time to mention Tiger Woods, Dixie Deans, Landon Donovan, Brian McClair and Shergar. Yeah that last one suprised us too. We also have Lawrence explaining to Eddie why his choice for the best Commotions album is completely wrong. | 9 7 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 96 - The Huddleboard | Chuck from the Huddleboard joins Eddie this week and together they discuss the impact football had upon young Catholics in West Belfast in the eighties and early nineties and Chuck admits to a dark secret regarding his first Celtic hero. They talk about the origins of the Huddleboard and the work that goes into keeping it ticking over. Chuck makes a strong defence of the Huddleboard and takes us through his role as a moderator. He discusses what is and isn't acceptable on the forum and explains the relationship the Huddleboard has with the other Celtic message boards. Chuck also explains the Huddleboard's position with regard to the regular internet meet ups the club hold. Finally they discuss Chuck's involvement with the Belfast Celtic Society. They discuss the museum which will open on the 3rd of July and they draw parallels with the work of the Society and that of the recently launched "Celtic Graves Committee." Chuck finishes with a word about St Mary's AFC's charity football tournament. You can find out more at http://www.stmarysafc.net | 23 6 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 95 - Modern Football is Rubbish | With next to nothing happening in the world of Celtic this week Eddie and his guest Harry Brady struggle to find something other than the World Cup to talk about. They fail miserably but at least they give it a good shot. When the history of the podcast comes to be written this will not go down as one of the finest produced. The Celticunderground Podcast 94 - World Cup 2010 | It's a World Cup 2010 special which means it's exactly the same as every other podcast but we talk about World Cup 2010. Eddie is joined by occasional contributor to the site and full time Buenos Aires resident, Mark Cooper. Mark talks us through some of the players he has identified in South America who he feels would make a positive impact at Celtic Park and he explains the frustration he has met with when trying to encourage Celtic scouts to shop in this market. Mark then gives us a quick run down of the teams from South America who are heading to World Cup 2010 this week. He gives us a flavour of the atmosphere in Argentina and explains why Maradona was wearing a Brazil shirt. Mark finishes with a look at our new manager and offers a different perspective on the appointment to that which we have previously heard on the podcast. We also have a special guest star who can only be identified by the name of "trialist"... Did you see how many times we managed to mention World Cup 2010 there? We're chasing that Google heat. The only way we could do better would be if we mentioned Iphone 4 a lot. That's right Iphone 4. But of course we didn't mention Iphone 4 because Iphone 4 has nothing to do with Celtic or with World Cup 2010... | 9 6 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 93 - More Questions Than Answers | St Anthony joins Eddie this week and togther they take a look back to the recent Q&A session hosted at Celtic Park. They discuss the need for Neil Lennon to be appointed as soon as possible and they talk about the players the club have currently been linked with. As is always the case when it's a couple of the regulars from the website, they tend to meander and talk about all sorts of rambling nonsense for about an hour. Which when you consider the fact that next to nothing has changed in the past week is pretty impressive. Eddie finishes off by doing one of his infrequent monologues about stuff that isn't really all that important and has a pop at the recent good weather. | 5 6 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 92 - Kathleen Murdoch | This week Eddie is joined by Mrs Kathleen Murdoch. Kathleen was married to Celtic legend Bobby from 1964 until his passing in 2001. She takes Eddie through the ups and downs of Bobby's career and gives a unique perspective on this glorious period in Celtic history. We learn what it was that gave Bobby's religion away when they first met, his "annoyance" at Jimmy Johnstone failing to pass the ball back to him and how he nearly gave it all up to move to Canada. Kathleen explains just what changed when Jock Stein arrived and shares her experiences at two European Cup finals. She tells us of the heartbreak Bobby felt when leaving Celtic and the affection she has for Tony Mowbray and Graeme Souness. And, as is fast becoming traditional, The Human Torpedo gives us a very apt tale from the Celtic Wiki. | 25 5 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

He tells us about the ethos behind TAL and the links with organisations such as the Green Brigade. The guys then finish up by having a look ahead at the rumoured signings and the impact Neil Lennon will make as our new manager. The Celticunderground Podcast 90 - Hearts, Henry McLeish & More Lennon | Michael Dolan joins Eddie this week and together they take a look back on the final game of the season. They discuss some aspects of the unusual team selection and have a pop at Mark Wilson's beard. They then discuss the statement released by John Reid after the game and attempt to decipher it for clues to the identity of the next manager. They then take a few stranges turns and end up discussing the recent document on Scottish Football produced by Henry McLeish. With no match on the horizon they are left with nothing to talk about during the final part of the podcast so instead Eddie gives us a song. Not really. They look ahead with some relish to the World Cup. And The Human Torpedo joins us once more with a tale from the Celtic Wiki - "A Man Who Couldn't Be Bought." | 12 5 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 89 - The Real Leadership Debate | Sorry about the delay in getting this out to you but James Kelly couldn't get out of his bed to appear when he was supposed to. That's velcro pyjamas for you I suppose. Anyway this week James and Eddie take a look back at our 2-1 victory over the forces of darkness and try to predict whether this is the shape of things to come or merely a blip. Then they discuss exactly why Neil Lennon should get the job as manager. Well we say "they" - it's more that James discusses it and Eddie goes for a pint and comes back to throw in the odd "uh-huh" every now and again. The man must breathe through a hole in his back or something. To be fair there are about three times in the hour when James paused for breath and Eddie manages to say something. They finish with a look ahead to the Hearts game and explain why it's completely irrelevent. Speaking of managers, The Human Torpedo joins us with another tale from the Celtic Wiki - "That Man Maley." | 8 5 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 88 - Not The View | JB Banal from Not the View joins Eddie this week. They take a look back at the U19 Cup victory over the baby bluenoses and agree that hosting a friendly at Celtic Park on the same evening is just plain daft. They also have a quick word about the match against Dundee United and chat about this week's candidates for the manager's job. They then move onto discussing the history behind Not The View. They talk about the reason it came into being and the role it played in the removal of the old board. JB talks about his celebrity filled lifestyle. or at least the time he met Stuart Cosgrove and didn't meet the Proclaimers. They discuss how the fanzine is put together and the way it has changed over the years. They then look ahead to the match against Motherwell and give away 5 (five) subscriptions. If you weren't successful in the competition you can still subscribe by going to www.ntvfanzine.com. The Celticunderground Podcast 87 - Hibs, Reid & Dundee United | This week Eddie is joined by Dianogah from kerrydalestreet.co.uk and the Celtic Wiki. They look back on the 3-2 win over Hibernian and decide that this game contained the 10 most exciting minutes of the season. They they move onto discussing John Reid's comments at the recent Player of the Year awards and Dianogah works hard to prevent Eddie going off on what is increasingly becoming a tiresome rant about the chairman of our great club. Candidates for the manager's job are discussed and a rumour or two is dropped into the conversation. They finish with a look ahead to the frankly pointless match against AZ Alkmaar, the frankly too early in the day match against Dundee United and the frankly bonkers match being proposed in Boston. The Human Torpedo tells us of the early days of the club and Eddie finishes up by reminding everyone that this is your last week to win a subscription to NTV. The Celticunderground Podcast 86 - Celts in Crisis Special | Harry Brady joins Eddie to pick over the carcass of our season. They discuss the performance against Ross County and point fingers wildly in an attempt to allocate blame. They then move onto asking whatever happened to John Reid and Peter Lawwell and wonder if they will ever be seen again. And finally they talk about the upcoming match against Hibs and they find time to consider what will be required to win the league. Strong drink had been taken. We have a couple of guest voices on this week - Bearsden Bhoy takes the time to phones in and walks us through the flip flopping of Gordon Smith. And we also have another visit to the Celtic Wiki. The Human Torpedo, talks of days gone by when Celtic used to win cup finals. No it's true we really used to get to cup finals and then win them. Prior to discussing this the guys look back on the recent match against Hibernian and they look at the recent change in attitude which Neil Lennon has brought about. They also discuss the forthcoming Convention in Santa Ponsa and then they look ahead to the Semi Final against Ross County. We also have another visit to the Celtic Wiki. The Celticunderground Podcast 84 - Celtic's Greatest Games | David Potter joins Eddie this week to talk about his new book "Celtic's Greatest Games." They discuss the recent match against Kilmarnock and the improvement in performance under interim manager, Neil Lennon. They then talk extensively about David's new book. They discuss the writing process and David's passion for the earlier days of Celtic history. Like David's books the discussion is wide ranging and encompasses all aspects of the Celtic story. They even manage to mention Keep the Faith magazine. David also picks the winners of his book. St Anthony also joins the show to provide a review of the book and chips in with his opinion on the changes in management. We also have the first edition of what while hopefully become a regular feature - If you know the history. One of the gatekeepers from the Celtic wiki, The Human Torpedo, joins us to tell the story of a long forgotten Celt. The Celticunderground Podcast 83 - St Mirren Aftermath | This week Eddie is joined by new dad Harry Brady and there is only one topic being discussed - the demise of Tony Mowbray. Recorded within half an hour of the 4-0 doing in Paisley Eddie and Harry come not to praise Tony but to bury him. They discuss just what has went wrong in the Mowbray era and whether he was ever truly up to the task. They discuss the effort of the players and look ahead to who they think are the linkely candidates for the job when Tony clears out his desk. Eddie also finds time to show off his attempt to work audioboo and we include one or the cleaner comments which were left on the hotline after the St Mirren match. And to think we don't even get to enjoy the uns being punted out of the cup. A sad night indeed. ExplicitThe Celticunderground Podcast 82 - The Green Brigade | This week Eddie is joined by Tony from the Green Brigade. They discuss the recent match against Kilmarnock, the performance of Keane, who should be his striking partner and whether O'Dea is improving. Then they move onto discussing the Green Brigade. Tony explains the origins of the group and ethos of the ultra movement. He then talks of the politics which helps to inform the group and the activities the Green Brigade are involved in both inside and outside Celtic Park. Eddie brings up the accusation of the Green Brigade being "daft bhoys" and Tony tackles it head on. They then discuss the meeting which is due to take place in St Mary's this weekend (11am St Mary's Chapel in the Carlton.) They discuss the options available to the support as they try to combat the honest mistakes which have taken place throughout the season. Is it appropriate to call for a boycott of the semi final or away games next season? They also discuss the best way to spell "Celtic" before looking ahead to the match against St Johnstone. The Celticunderground Podcast 81 - Falkirk, History, Kilmarnock | Celtic history is the theme this week with Eddie being joined by Harry Daly, a fan who has seen more Celtic matches than you've had hot dinners. Unless, of course, you are one of these people who has hot dinners for breakfast, lunch and erm... dinner. Harry ( I have an overwhelming urge to write "not that one) discusses his experiences following the club over the past eighty years. We talk about the players he has seen and the games he has attended. We talk about the Exhibition Cup, Hampden in the sun and the road to Lisbon. The Celticunderground Podcast 80 - Rangers, Paranoia and Honest Mistakes | Eddie is joined by Tony Hamilton (not that one), the author of Celtic Paranoia, The Laptop Loyal Diaries. Together they look back on the huns match and attempt to figure out whether the defeat was due to rank bad refereeing or a rank bad performance. Eventually they decide that it was probably something in between but we can't shake the feeling that it's more to do with the referee regardless of the performance. Tony then discusses the thinking behind his book and the influence Noam Chomsky had on his understanding of exactly what "Celtic Paranoia" is. They finish with a look ahead to Falkirk and Tony selects the winners of his book. | 3 3 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 79 - United, Referees and Rangers | St Anthony joins Eddie Pearson this week to discuss the recent match against Dundee United. They review the forced changes in the team line up and discuss the impact this had on the performance. They discuss the young guns who formed our centre half partnership and form of the left hand side of the team. Following this they move onto discussing the latest stramash between Celtic and the SFA regarding refereeing. Unsurprisingly they both come to the conclusion that the club was spot on and the only question is what took them so long? Of course those of you who follow celticrumours on twitter will be well aware that the club was meeting with the SFA this week because we told you on Sunday. What? You mean to say you're not following us on twitter? You don't know what you're missing. Anyway Eddie and Saint reflect on some of the recent dodgy decisions which were, as we all know, simply honest mistakes and we wonder how many honest mistakes the ref will make this Sunday. We also have a guess at which day next week Hugh Dallas will apologise for Celtic being denied 8 penalties due to honest mistakes. Finally we look ahead to the hun game and attempt to pick a team which can both attack and defend. We fail pathetically but we try. We eventually accept that we'll just need to keep scoring goals because neither of us believes we won't concede. | 24 2 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

And about whom the Edinburgh Evening News said; "Murray's set was an accomplished display of endearing self-deprecation and bookish absurdity" Aye that Antony Murray) joins Eddie this week and together they try to figure out what the heck went wrong in the game against Aberdeen. They talk through the way the team lined up, they take a look at the substitutions, they try to blame the ref but eventually they have to just accept that it wasn't very good. Then they move onto the big issue of this week, which was also the big issue of the last week, and that is of course the manager. Antony is a staunch supporter of Tony Mowbray and he explains exactly why Celtic should keep faith with the big man. They then move onto a short discussion on the tims who currently make up the Scottish comedy circuit and despite intense questioning Antony refuses to reveal those who kid on they aren't huns. Stu Who being the most obvious candidate. They finish with a look ahead to the Dundee United match and discuss whether or not they are still enjoying attending Celtic Park these days. They also fail to include the compulsary phrase "one of these days this team is going to give someone a right doing." And for that they can only apologise. Antony is appearing as part of the Magners Glasgow Comedy Festival on the 17th of March and tickets are £6 and can be purchased via this link or by calling 08443954005. | 16 2 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 77 - Kilmarnock, Keane, Chaos | Harry Brady joins Eddie once again to review what should have been the perfect end to the perfect January Transfer Window. And it almost was. If not for the fact that Kilmarnock hadn't read the script and ruined it for everyone. Or at least everyone who was looking forward to a Robbie Keane hattrick. They then move onto discussing the future of the manager and try to avoid saying what everyone is thinking because they both quite like Mowbray and feel bad about saying it's all over bar the shouting. So they don't say that and instead try to come up with reasons why he should stay on. Then Eddie has one of his rants about the joint sponsorship deal with the huns. These are becoming far too frequent and must surely be losing their impact. The Celticunderground Podcast 76 - Voices of the Old Firm Part 2 | Part 2 of our special edition podcast. As we said for episode 74, in 1995 St Anthony contributed to Stephen Walsh's excellent book "Voices of the Old Firm"(which you can buy here. ) The book was a collection of interviews Stephen conducted with Celtic and Rangers fans about their memories of supporting their team. On the 25th and the 26th of December in 1995 Radio Five Live took Stephen's recordings of those interviews and put together 2 hour long (give or take) documentaries about Celtic and Rangers since the 1940s. Stephen has kindly allowed us to reproduce those documentaries here. This is part two of two. Be aware that this documentary contains Rangers fans talking about their support for their club and as such may not appeal to all. It makes reference to the events of the late eighties and early nineties and at times isn't happy listening. The Celticunderground Podcast 73 - Falkirk, Brown and Sponsorship | Harry Brady joins Eddie this week as they look back on what is probably the poorest match of the season - the game against Falkirk. They attempt to remember their secondary school Geometry in their struggle to explain the midfield formation. Phone in opinions this week come from Argentina and South Korea which is fairly diverse. The guys then move onto a discussion on the merits or otherwise of a shared sponsorship deal with the huns before moving onto a review of the recent stramash over Scott Brown. They finish with a look ahead to the strange kick off time against St Johnstone. During this conversation they remember that they have completely ignored the match against Morton and start to discuss the Scottish Cup game. This leads them back to the Falkirk match and all semblence of a structure in the podcast leaves the building. The Celticunderground Podcast 72 - Wigan, Middlesbrough we salute you | With no match taking place due to the weather Eddie and his guest, Michael Dolan, take the time to discuss the comings and goings at Celtic Park during the current Transfer Window. they try and fail to hide their delight at Caldwell leaving but they do have a few fond words for Robson. Extra credit must go to the lads for almost managing to get through an entire podcast without having a pop at Strachan. They also discuss Owen Coyle's move to Bolton and his comments during the recent press conference. They conclude their chat with a look ahead to the game against Falkirk and try to figure out just who the heck will wear the captain's armband. The Celticunderground Podcast 71 | This week we have part one of a two part spectacular. Eddie is joined by Jamie and Chris from the Lostbhoys podcast for part one of their extensive drunken conversation which took place six hours after the recent Celtic V hun match. They obviously discuss the recent game against the forces of darkness and also have a wide ranging conversation regarding podcasting, Green in Texas' inability to communicate and the origins of the Lostbhoys podcast. Jamie and Chris bicker like a couple of old woman and Eddie spends most of the podcast looking forward to their half of the podcast when he can crack open the beers. This week also sees the start of a feature which will hopefully become a regular part of the podcast. A few brave souls volunteered to test out the Celticunderground hotline and left their opinions of the game against the huns. The Celticunderground Podcast 70 | Eddie is joined by Lachiemor this week and together they review the recent match against Hamilton Accies. At points the conversation sounds more like a weather forecast but they get there in the end. They then discuss the recent "Top Ten Players of the Decade" list which was issued by some website or other. They mainly focus on the players who didn't make the cut and ask themselves a question you don't often hear on the internet, "is it possible we were wrong?" Finally they look ahead to the hun game due to be played this Sunday. With the huns winning 7-1 while the podcast was being recorded there is a certain tone to the preview that listeners of a nervous disposition may wish to turn off. Ach it'll be fine. Eddie then digs out his dictaphone and presents a couple of very short interviews he conducted with Jeanette Findlay and Joe O'Rourke during the recent open meeting which was held in St Mary's in the Carlton. He also has a pop at forum moderators in the process which comes across much harsher than he intended but ach well. | 30 12 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 69 | Saint Anthony joins Eddie this week and together they look back on the recent cracking match against Motherwell. They discuss the merits of each of the players and celebrate the fact that Fortune looked like he might just have something about him. They also try to figure out just what the heck has happened to Samaras and make all manner of bizarre comparisions. Then they take a look back over the past ten years (just like everyone else is doing) and attempt to identify the game of the decade. Almost inevitably they disagree on the details but they enjoy reminising about some of the great days and nights they have experienced. Eddie even manages to acknowledge that two games in the Strachan era are worth of comment. Two games out of four years. That tells it's own story. They finish with a look ahead to Vienna and Edinburgh. It should be noted that this podcast was edited whilst Eddie was attempting to create a facebook group following his star turn at the recent Social Media Dinner . That should explain why it sounds even worse than normal. | 16 12 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

They discuss the recent upturn in our form and the difficulties watching the game with two weans along for the ride. They discuss the uses for twitter and the ongoing success of the Celtic wiki . They are interrupted by a helicopter but manage to keep it together to discuss the recent attempts to bring politics into football. This leads them into a discussion regarding the "cause" and what exactly that cause is. They chat about the Green Brigade and how they remember when this was all fields. Eddie trys and fails to avoid mentioning John Reid again and then they look ahead to the forthcoming game against Motherwel. Eddie finally remembers that he hasn't announced the winners of the Davy Hay book competition and the guys realise why it's important that you don't allow family and friends to take part in these types of things. | 9 12 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 67 | And so we're back. From outer space and we still have the same gormless look upon our face. Or should that be faces? Which could be a spelling mistake but who can say? This week Eddie Pearson is joined once again by Harry Brady and together they review the Dundee United debacle. Then they try to remain upbeat about the manager but find themselves heading down all sorts of strange routes. Eddie goes off on a rant about John Reid while Harry describes himself as "indifferent" to the chairman. Damning stuff we're sure you'll agree. We finish with a look ahead to the St Mirren game and start to whistle and hope that things work out for the best. The Celticunderground Podcast 66 | With it's release today (30th of October) Eddie is joined by Felix Gibson, the Fm2010 Celtic researcher. Eddie and Felix take five minutes to look back on the Hamilton Accies game and quickly become bored with it. They then move onto talking about Felix's involvement in Football manager. He patiently explains the data collection process he goes through, the need for accuracy and fairness, his views on what makes a good player in the game and ultimately how being an FM researcher can affect your enjoyment of the real thing. Meanwhile Eddie just wants to know how to cheat and get the best players and why Aiden McGeady isn't recognised as the greatest player in the history of everything. Later Eddie goes off on one of his occasional rambling outros that seem to go on for longer than the actual interview. On the plus side he does manage to run a competition with 2 copies of Davie Hay's new book,"The Quiet Assassin" up for grabs. The Celticunderground Podcast 65 | This week Eddie Pearson is joined by Jeanette Findlay of the Celtic Trust. With the AGM just round the corner it seemed like an ideal time to invite a representative from the trust onto the podcast. Jeanette discusses the formation of the trust and the role of supporters trusts today. She talks about the aims of the Celtic trust and what they hope to achieve. Eddie brings up the issue of Jeanette's appearance on Radio 5 last year and discusses Jeanette's conversation with Nicky Campbell. They then look back on Podcast 29 and Jeanette responds to some of the comments which Eddie and Harry made about the Trust at that time. Eddie struggles to remember what he had for dinner last night so he has no chance recalling his comments from over a year ago. The Celticunderground Podcast 64 | This week Eddie Pearson is joined by Gerry McDade, author of "Celtic - The Supersonic 70s."(Available from Amazon for only £6.99! ) Gerry takes Eddie on a trip back in time to the days of Harry Hood and Pans People. They start by discussing Gerry's work with Celtic TV before moving onto talking about whether Frank Cannon was better than Jim Rockford. They then discuss various events from that era such as the Atletico Madrid game and the constant doings that Dixie Deans inflicted upon Hibs. Gerry takes Eddie through the writing process and explains some of the thinking behind the structure and design of the book itself. They talk about some of the lesser known heroes of the era such as Stevie Murray and Peter Latchford as well as the usual suspects in the form of Jock Stein, Kenny Dalglish and Billy McNeill. | 14 10 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

During the conversation they discuss James' opinion of the new management team and try to expand upon his recent article entitled "So Long to the Honeymoon."The guys disagree over the manager's use of substitutes but eventually agree that it would be wrong to describe Mowbray as tactically naive. They then spend a few moments reviewing the performance of the match referee at Ibrox and come to the conclusion that in a land where fairness and justice reigned Celtic would have won that match 3-2. Probably. With no real football on this weekend due to the international match, they finish off with a quick look at the recent Top Twenty Influential Online Tims 2009 lhist and try to figure out what exactly an influential online tim actually is. | 7 10 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

The guys attempt to discuss the recent Falkirk game and the match against St Mirren but find themselves meandering into areas such as just what is it that Scott Brown has got that no season ticket holder can see? They take a look at the recent burst of genius from Paddy McCourt and try to figure out whether this is the start of something great or just the second coming of Paul Byrne. They argue over whether or not debt is a bad thing and they look ahead *ahem* to the Rapid Vienna game and of course the match against the huns. | 2 10 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

They look at the early days and identify the links between the Celtics of Glasgow and Belfast. Then they focus on the events of 1948 which sounded the death knell for the club. ExplicitThe Celticunderground Podcast 59 | Bill McIntosh from the Johannesburg Celtic Supporters Club joins Eddie this week. They briefly discuss the victory against Dinamo Moscow before moving onto a wide ranging discussion regarding Bill's adventures in Africa. Over the past few years the Johannesburg CSC have become well known for their "Bhoys for Africa" project. The project has previously featured on the Celticunderground website but as we have no idea if there will actually be a website this time tomorrow it's probably worth explaining it here. The Johannesburg CSC have taken on the challenge of living up to the charitable roots of the club and distribute old Celtic strips to the children of the surrounding township. Often these children have nothing more than the shirt on their back and Bill and his colleagues work hard to provide them with footballs, boots and kit in order to provide them with some of the basics that we take for granted. Charlie takes Eddie through the great man's career from his early playing days with Belfast Celtic through to the events of his funeral and the kinds words of Billy McNeill. During the conversation they discuss Celtic's Cheeky Chappie and the impact he had on a Celtic support badly in need of a hero. They discuss his love of the games against the hun and the infamous Cox-Tully incident. Charlie Jnr talks of Charlie as a father and not just as a Celtic great. We also discuss the work of the Belfast Celtic Society adn their part in keeping the memory of Charlie Tully alive. And we even finish with a song. We start with Jim Kennedy and work our way up through to Lee Naylor. If you think we've missed anyone remember to get in touch and let us know. They discuss the new signings, the impact Mowbray has made on the club, the collapse of Setanta and the club's response. This makes it sound quite interesting and well thought out. The reality is that this a mad rambling discussion which barely makes sense despite significant attempts to edit it into something resembling a decent podcast. The Celticunderground Podcast 55 | The podcast returns to its roots for this edition as Eddie takes a break from presenting duties, with James Kelly and John Madden holding the fort in a throwback to the days when the two aired with zero preparation and even less listeners. Picking up right where they left off with some shamelessly unqualified analysis of a game neither actually saw, this week's podcast takes in the season's opening friendly match down under against the Brisbane Roar, before moving on to discussion of what manager Tony Mowbray will be looking to achieve from the remainder of warm-up games leading up to the 3rd round Champions League qualifier at the end of the month, followed by a glance at Celtic's potential opponents in those ties. There's also reaction to Mowbray and Peter Lawwell's comments regarding a certain Holy Goalie's future at the club, the capture of Marc Antoine Fortune, and thoughts on an assortment of other potential recruits, realistic or otherwise. Matters close with some belated farewells to those players moving in the opposite direction, in what is sure to be a rehash of various comments already churned out over the course of the previous three or four editions, but in fairness, lack of recent match sharpness meant both podders had started to wilt by that stage. Sad news of John Hartson's cancer diagnosis hadn't reached us before we went ahead with recording, something which doubtless would have been reflected in the tone for much of the podcast otherwise. A message of support to the big man is tagged on at the end. YNWA, BBJ. Behind you all the way. | 13 7 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

The lostbhoys podcast (www.lostbhoys.com) is a brand new addition to the growing band of Celtic fan produced media. Dedicated to the overseas fans, the lostbhoys podcast is produced by a few hardy souls in North America and provides a different perspective on our club. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder and the lostbhoys certainly love the club. The lostbhoys intend to produce one of these on, at worse, a fortnightly schedule and we wish them all the very best. They look ahead to some of the challenges that the new man will face. And they make sure everyone and his dog knows that the Celticunderground website predicted Tony Mowbray was to be the new manager weeks ago. An unusually positive and upbeat podcast this week. In keeping with our current nostalgia trip filled website we have decided to take a trip back in time and review the great month that was December 2008. Can you remember those days? We played Falkirk and Hearts and the huns. Crazy times. Basically what we have here is two podcasts worth of content that I just didn't manage to get out to folk over the holidays. So rather than force you to listen to it all here's a wee contents type guide thing. Lachiemor chats about the Hearts game from about 1 minutes in until 25 mins 30. The Celticunderground Podcast 18 | If mining for nuggets somewhere in the midst a meandering conversation between two guys who might as well be in the pub but don't have the excuse of being drunk is your thing, then feel free to bring in the weekend with this unusually upbeat offering from Celtic Underground. With one eye on the kick off time of the Chelsea vs Liverpool game, Gerry and Joe have raced through two Old Firm victories, squeezed in a look ahead to the season's closing games and ran the rule over the latest Artur Boruc 'antic' as well as the associated media fallout. In fact the only remotely lengthy bits are reserved for laughing at Rangers. And how we missed that. | 1 5 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 17 | This week's podcast consists of a rambling chat with Harry Brady. We thought we might start with a conversation about the SPL's decision to extend the season (maybe.) Then we found ourselves bumping our gums about the huns in general and the game against Aberdeen. We even managed to somehow find time to have a moan about the quality of Scottish sport journalists. I know talk about fish in a barrel? | 23 4 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 15 | In this episode it's no surprise that we spend almost the entire show picking at the rotting corpse that is the hun game last weekend. We then look ahead and explain in a very scientific fashion exactly how we will win this league. | 1 4 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

The Celticunderground Podcast 10 | Despite the extremely annoying clicking sound it would appear that more than a few of you were willing to listen to the inane rambling of a couple of sad lonely men with nothing better to do. So we've decided to do it again. This week Eddie Pearson and Harry Brady chew the fat. Topics being discussed include the defeat against Barcelona, the victory against St Mirren, the ongoing debate over the merits of the manager. the bizarre opinion of McGeady that Harry holds and a wee look ahead to the games coming up this week. The Celticunderground Podcast 7 | A rather more understated podcast this time around with the tragic death of Phil O'Donnell overtaking events on the field. Joe, Gerry and Eddie take the opportunity to look back upon Phil's career, both at Celtic and on the whole, picking out some favourite memories of the player, paying tribute to his undoubted character, and putting his contribution to Celtic into perspective following his landmark signing during a time of fundamental transformation for the club. shortly after the arrival of Fergus McCann. Also on the show: individual reviews of 2007, and a run through the first team report cards at the end of a calendar year marked by European progression yet some surprisingly troubling domestic form. Customer Reviews
best football podcast out there!
here you go eddie, review number 2. This is one of the best football podcasts out there in my opinion as it is done by honest fans who call it as they see it. Tune into 5live's World Football Fone in for likeminded football debate!
Every Celtic fan should subscribe
The Celticunderground podcast is brilliant and it’s always varied and interesting as well as being funny. Eddie the podcast creator is joined by a guest each week and they discuss previous games and future games as well as any Celtic related hot topics and rumours. This is the one podcast I really look forward to and I have always enjoyed it. Keep up the good work.
Celtic Underground is Great
This is the best football podcast out there, mainly because it's about my team. What it lacks in its breadth of coverage (Celtic only, but hey that's in the podcast title and most other good football podcasts ignore the spl) it makes up in its intelligence and passion for one of the worlds greatest clubs (if not the best). Keep it up, great web site also.
