Who is this for?

It's a great shame that Christian Aid doesn't spend a little more time on scripting their podcasts. I think it very important that they air these issues but the shows are full of jargon. What is a statutory funder for instance? And what is a participatory workshop mangement programme? Please keep the podcasts going but try and use a language that normal people understand. It might be great for academics and staff, but it goes straight over my head.

Christian Aid Podcasts

In answer to the earlier posting, the podcast episodes are a purposely varied mix of staff talks, interviews from the field and live event coverage. It's fair to say that some episodes will appear more technical than others but we hope the overall mix of content means that the podcast series appeals to the widest possible audience. Nevertheless, point noted! I'll try to ensure we avoid jargon (or explain it) in future episodes. Also, if you have suggestions on what you'd like to hear in future episodes, please drop me a line at the address below. New subscribers might also like to check out the episode called ‘Top of the Pods’ for an introduction to Christian Aid podcasts. Please keep the comments coming and thanks for listening!
