ExplicitPodcast: DISCO PILLS & OTHER THRILLS | This is my first non-club/promo/speciality podcast of 2012... a mix where i select tracks I actually like, rocking my world and floors, and that are fresh off the mp3 press and compile them into a podcast that has a name that tries and reflects the style of the mix. On DISCO PILLS I mix up a variety of genres into one smooth groove. Containing progressive, electro, funky, disco, latin and tech elements...these are the disco pills...all thrown into one bottle, shaken up and served cool. WARNING>>>can be addictive! There are soem great fresh tunes on here, some excellent covers and remixes and plenty of new tracks to grap your attention. Since this is a non-club-specific mix it best represents my broad style. From nuFunk bar tunes to dirty 'Hard On' style tracks. There is a total of 20 tracks clocking in to about one hour and 45 minutes of pumping house. What takes you up, shakes your body onto the ground and makes you jump, pump and groove? Like they say in the MAtrix...."You take the blue pill, the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill, you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Which one will you take?..." This mix is recorded at 192kps, 146mb and is 1.41 hours in length. ExplicitPODCAST: LIVE SESSIONS - KAZBAR KUTS | The second of my LIVE SESSIONS mixes of 2012, this mix was extracted from my set at Clapham's friendliest local gay bar Kazbar. On Clapham High Street, the Kazbar is a gay icon of the area, being for many their 'local' pub...a place to meet friends, drop in for a drink, or a gather before pre-clubbing. Closing at 1am, during the week the bar plays commercial video clips, while on the weekend DJs are bought in to give the place some kick. This mix was recorded on a Friday night. Playing a bar needs a careful balance to be accessible but not predictable, uplifting so people may groove, but not. It needs to be the perfect companion to drinking and the perfect beat to warm them up for the next stage of their night. My approach to the Kazbar is keeping it strictly funky. It's a place I can let my groovier side out, where a lot of disco flavoured grooves meet vocal house, sexy commercial remixes saddle up to some of the biggest (and best) current club tracks. Latin touches, classic remixes and older tracks from over the last couple of years are also included. Along with the newer tracks, you can enjoy others that are familiar. Get down and boogie with the Kazbar Kuts. Over 1.5 hour of funky house grooves. LIVE SESSIONS do not contain track listings. | 16 4 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitPODCAST: BUTT FU*KING BEATS- Upgrade Your Sleaze | This podcast contains a dirty and sexy mix of progressive, dirty, sexy and arse pounding beats. Tougher than my normal podcasts, this is part of mine & Hard On's plan to bring fetish into the 20th century integrating new fetishes, creating a 'dirty' yet accessible image and adding funk to the beats. It was thought 'hard sex' had to have hard house'...when Hard House was popular that may have been the case, but on BUTT FU*KING BEATS we prove that all because you hace changed your trousers and tie for chaps and harness that your taste in music need to change too. With HARD ON fresh take on fetish, they have successfully integrated sex and clubbing, made it appeal to a hotter and younger crowd and invented the Dirty Dance Club. Now at UNION, that dance club just got dirtier and this is the soundtrack. TRACKLIST: 1. Before This Night Is Through (Bad Things) (Original Mix) / Tim Berg 2. ExplicitABBAMIX | It may be a strange for connection, but if it wasn't for ABBA I may have never got into DJING. My love of ABBA fuelled my love for music and my passion to do more with it. Being an Australian, ABBA is part of our countries history. It was us who went crazy for them when the rest of the world forgot them after WATERLOO. It was a country where 1 in 3 families had an ABBA album and at one time 5 out of 10 tracks in the top 10 were ABBA. Fernando spent 16 weeks at number one. Ever since they have been a favourite on my iphone on the beach, when I am doing housework, to make me feel happy if I am down... After hearing a mixcloud podcast by another DJ who sourced various ABBA remixes, most of them by fans...i thought I too would like to pay tribute to ABBA on this podcast. ABBAMIX is 100% ABBA...no cover versions, except maybe one by Peter K with (Lay All Your) Love On Me. This was a house music take on ABBA's 'club tune'. The mix contains ABBA original recordings interspersed with various 'fan-remixes' and include a slightly messy but rather impressive version of the Visitors & a 2006 house remix of Waterloo in a speed garage style. Perhaps one of the most important additions to this mix is the DMC MEGA MIX. Professionally done, this blends/cuts ABBA mixes together. Throughout the ABBAMIX you will blends, fast cuts, cut and paste, beat mixing and filters to create one continuos ABBAMIX. Party, listen or sing along...my aim was to offer the beloved ABBA in a different way not to distract from the genius of ABBA but to create a new twist. Over 1 hour of tunes, 12 distinct tracks covering 20 ABBA tunes in various ways. Mixing ABBA is not easy. Beats drift, they weren't made to be beat mixed...but at least I tried, and here it is. I hope this can refresh your ABBA love as it did for me when I was making it. | 13 3 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Both Paul Heron & I picked 5 tracks each from our current top 10 tracks and created this miniCast to promote the night. ExplicitGaydar Radio Club Nation Mix 2011 | When Tony English first asked me to put a mix on Gaydar Radio for his club nation show, I was thrilled. This was then met by terror. What do I put on it? In a club you can gauge what to play, where you go with the music and the people, but a cold light of day mix meant for a gay commercial radio station! This was a challenge! This mix took me longer than normal to put together, because I had to think about what I was putting on it. I had to consider the market it was going to...and knew I would be judged on it if not least by the Gaydar listeners but myself. I wanted it to be accessible, in line with Gaydars commercialized playlists (I checked) but also I had to look good in front of my peers. Choices, choices, choices. First it had to have music I have been playing out recently. That was important. I could of packed it with new tunes to impress, but I figured they wanted what I played out...so my market was LoProfile, Gaydars real world club brand. This meant I was to go down nuFunk House style. Slowly the mix started to develop and emerge...a mix of familiar samples in new house tunes, soem brilliant covers, a couple of fresh tracks and a few of my floor favorites. Looking back I can now see there is certain feel to the mix...a friend described as 'Brent Retro Funky'...and that is an apt summary. There is almost a old skool funky house vibe to it...a sound I have been describing over the last two years as nuFunk...and it seems more and more of it was coming out and I have put into this mix. I had to cut a few tracks that were 'pumping, hard and not very Gaydar Radio'. I figured the demographic of the radio station will suit this mix...I did what I would do in any club...match my style to the crowd. I figured Hard On customers who like it edgier wouldn't listen to Gaydar Radio, but LoProfie, Profile and Rupert Street types would. And with that the mix was born. Is it my favourite? Not really...I could have added some edge to it. Some of the tunes sound much better in the club than they do on a cold mix..and put together...yes it is uplifting, funky and as so aptly put 'retro'...but i could have injected it with a harder edge. You can hear me heading in that territory for a second before pulling back. So in short, this is my Gaydar Radio mix...'a retro, funky house mix' . Still uplifting, but tempered for Radio. TRACKLISTING: 1. Hop On Hop Off (Lissat & Voltaxx Remix)/ Goodluck 2. Back2House (Original Mix) / Crazibiza 3. Take Me Higher -(Garrett & Ojelay Rmix) / Rogerseventytwo 4. Edge of the Earth (Original) / Richard Dinsdale 5. Rock The Casbah 2011 ( Original Mix) / Truelove Vs The Clash 6. My House (Main Booty Mix) / Marcel, Stefano Pain 7. Pray (Danny Leblack Special Remix) / Silco, Vicenzo, Always, Vaness 11. I Dont Wanna Stop (Original Mix) / Etienne Ozborne & Richard Beyn 12. ExplicitDJ Brent Nicholls vs. Minty: The Minty Mix | n continuation of Brent Nicholls versus well know scene-stars, we also asked Minty for a collection of tracks that she would play if she was the DJ. We then took 10 of those tracks, got Brent yo mix them and came up with DJ BRENT NICHOLLS VS MINTY- THE MINTY MIX. Brent says about the mix…”it was a challenge. Minty selected many tracks that did not have house beats, so we had to compromise with a few remixes we found that incorporated her choices. She also chose quite a few house tunes too which have also been added. Her taste range over a 10 year period and I remember her going off to these tracks at the old Beyond in the VIP room which she ruled. Her other house choices were remixes of old rock records, in fact the ten tracks selected definitely have a rock feel somewhat reflecting, what I think, is Minty’s Rock-Chic image. Admittedly some of the tracks would not fit together well, so there was some fiddling about…but the end result is one I ‘ve got to say really hooks you in with a catchy, sexy and sometimes dirty vibe…just like our Minty….” | 3 12 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitSQ Top 10 Hit List Vol 1 | It was nearly three months in the making, and finally it’s here…the ultimate PODCAST compiled by you and mixed by DJ Brent Nicholls. The SQ Hit List Vol 1 is a collaborative effort by the SeenQueen Music site visitors, Soundcloud & DJ Brent Nicholls. It all started when we loaded 12 of DJ Brent Nicholls hottest floor shakers into a hit list. The following month we kept the top 5 tunes as indicated by which had the highest plays and upload another 7. A few weeks later, we kept the top 10 highest play tracks and added more tunes. When this mix was compiled, the average plays per time online was taken into consideration and this is the result. A mix by the people for the people. | 18 11 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitLive Sessions 2011: Lo Profile- The PlayTime Mix | Recorded live at LoProfile's sexy Friday night club PlayTime in late October. This mix best represents about 1.5 hour of my set. As with all live mixes, it will include current anthems, new tracks and a few classics. This is typical of my style for LoProfile which attracts a very gAyLISt crowd of Soho Hipsters, muscle boys, clubbers, bisexuals, metrosexuals, girls ranging from the street wise Soho chick to the chic and onto the 'just stepped out of the office' kind. With the reinvention of Fridays, it's has become on of the places to be seen. PlayTime features international pornstars who perform on a open bed and later will dance on the podiums for the crowd. Although my main objective is to keep the dancefloor pumpimg, which at times it was all hands to the air, with the more sexual feel of Playtime I also inject into my grooves not only a hipshaking soundtrack but one that would equaly match some hip thrusting As with all Live Sessions, there is no tracklist, it's about the set...so get get hip thrusting and enjoy the sound of PlayTime! | 8 11 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitRebel Rockers | BRENT NICHOLLS VS SYLVIA REBEL: REBEL ROCKERS Inspired by my podcasts collaboration with independent club reviewer Disco Matt and by the words expressed by Sylvia Rebel in her www.seenqueen.com interview ‘Rebel With A Cause’…I now join forces with Sylvia Rebel to present REBEL ROCKERS, a brand new mini-cast meeting of minds and musical tastes. In her SeenQueen.com interview Sylvia revealed she wanted to start to DJ, so jumping the gun before she got behind the decks I was curious as to what her choice in music would be. Than REBEL ROCKERS was born. On this collaboration Sylvia nominated about 15 tunes she currently loved, my job was to select 10 of those tracks, decide on which mix best suited the minicast and then mix it all together. As in all collaborations, some of Sylvia’s choices would not have been mine and the remix which I selected may not be her ‘favourite version’…however for continuity as well as with the aim to create something which reflected both of our tastes…this demarcation worked perfectly. When will Sylvia step behind the decks herself? In a way she already has. With computers, mixing is the easy part…selecting the grooves and deciding what goes with what to create an original musical soundtrack is where the talent lies, and both Sylvia and I have contributed equally in that part. This mix reflects Sylvia’s taste in house music, however until we put her behind the decks will discover the full Sylvia experience. Rebel Rockers we have a sneak preview into what we can expect as Sylvia places the title ‘DJ’ before name…. TRACKLISTING: 1. Every Other Lover In The World (Marc Video Edit)/ GEORGE MICHAEL 2. Set Fire To The Rain (Moto Blanco Rmx) / ADELE 3. Enjoy The Ride / ROY DAVIS 4. Offshore (A Little Love) feat. Rebeka Brown - Evolution Sax Mix / MAGICAL SOLUTIONS 5. ExplicitLOVE PULSE | Feel the rhythm, feel the beat, feel the pulse of the music! Promoting LoveChild's move from Fire to the new gay super club Pulse I have created a special podcast of 18 pumping tracks covering most of the genres i am currently playing. This 1.5 hours of pure uplifting and chunked up club house that hits you in your funky bone... Right from the start you will find your butt grooving with the tough, yet funky Let's Get This Thing Started by the Pizza Brothers hailing a new direction and a new home for the club that won Best Monthly Club in 2010 at the www.seenqueen.com club poll. The tracks that follow maintain the pace and feel pumping your groove thing until we hit some fantastic vocal fuelled track including my current favourite The Edge Of The Earth by Richard Dinsdale. This Producer/remixer has easily become one to watch with a funky and uplifting sound that is spearheading it's way into the clubs. With Sykes & Sugarstarr cover of the Rolling Stones No Satisfaction hitting your ear drums, you will start to move like Jagger before entering the more old skool and edgier feel with the fantastic remake of My House. Now what would one of my podcasts be without a disco dip into the funky pool and there are a few tracks that do just that ooozing Hed Kandy style including Alex Kenji's soon to be massive Emotion and another Richard Dinsdale track DJ You Got My Love. The mix goes a little techy with the hypnotic and sexy Knick Knack before going back to where we started with some electro tipped and the very funny tunes ending with Loca People by Sak Noel who sums everything up by singing "What the f*ck!? All day, all night ,All day, all night ,Viva la fiesta, viva la noche ,Viva los DJ's, I couldn't believe what I was living...." Feel the pulse of LoveChild! | 21 9 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitHARD ON 8 | London’s infamous fetish club turns 8 years old on Sat 17th September 2011 and to celebr8 I have created a special podcast that takes two tracks from each year from 2003-2011, and compiled the ultimate Hard On 8 Anthem podcasts. For those that may have thought Hard On may have been all hard and all banging, that depends on what dance floor you were on...but on my floors it was dirty, sexy and funky which this podcasts sets out to show. Deciding which two tracks to represent the club was not an easy task. There were several criteria I needed to consider. First of all, Hard On has been in three venues during its 8 years and I have played in four different dance floors over those years. When at Crash I was literally in the dark room, so the music needed to be sexy but not over the top party while still be different from the main floor. At Hidden I started in the cruise lounge, so clubby tunes selections were fine, but once moved into the Red Room, it had to be tougher, more uplifting and accessible while still being underground. At Factory we are redefining fetish and what is expected from it as a club and as a soundtrack so merging sexy beats with a funky soundtrack is in order here, after all, putting on a pair of chaps may indicate the type of sex you want, but it doesn’t change your taste in music. The challenge was which tunes will easily define the year...I did not want them to all be ‘obvious’, so I also added a few of my own personal favourites which defined certain moments in Hard On’s history. Listening to the mix I realise one may never really capture the essence of the Hard On floor with only two tracks a year, making up 18 in total (two tracks for each year, including its 9th year 2011-12). In fact the first few make it sound very clubby, despite I was in a dark room, but the aim was to create a mix that would spark memories not only of that year, but to hopefully recall a precise moment when you heard one of these tracks drop amongst the other more obscure and underground tunes...music to f**k to. This mix as a view of Hard On past as we look into the future, so put on your gear and come dancing across 8 years of Hard On being London’s horniest ‘dirty dance club’. TRACKLISTING: 1. DA HYPE / Junior Jack (2003) 2. I CAN’T STOP / Sandy Riviera (2003) 3. THE WORLD IS MINE / David Guetta (2004) 4. DIRTY FILTHY / Supercumbo ft. Celeda (2004) 5. ExplicitIndustri Last Dance Volume 2 (Live) | Although there are some classic tunes on here giving a nod to the past there are also plenty of new material that looks to the future. Industri was a social soiree that was born at Barcode Vauxhall as a collaboration between BCV & Brent Nicholls, Paul Heron & Minty. It essentially introduced the Soho styled soiree to the Vauxhall clubbing centre. Just before it's third birthday Industri moved to Barcode Soho and reinvented itself in the heart of this thriving social enviroment. When it was announced that Barcode Soho was to close, Industri too thought it was time to call it quits. This podcasts is one of two parts that pays tribute to a night that created new friends, forged great relationships and gave London a unqiue soiree experience. ExplicitLive Sessions 2011: Gigolo (Disco Pimp Mix) | When I was aked to bring my disco tunes to play at the new Thursday night Gigolo...I thought 'what does he mean?' Of course, what he meant was to bring nuFunk house, the term I have been using to describe a certain sound found across many genres that has been injecting the funk back into clubbing. 'Finally' they realise you play glamourous funky house you attract people of the same ilk...nuFunk and glamour were about to merge! GIGOLO is the love child of scene phtographer and all round hunk David Hart who was formerly involved with Room Service. David wanted to create a funky, social and friendly atmosphere in a central and well liked venue. Utilising his master of photography and vision he transformed the LoProfile venue into a Gigolo's boudoir where one could easily bump for a buck. The music direction was simple...uplifting, funky, disco and groovy. Nothing ground breaking or underground...just something that was sexy and feel good. It fitted perfectly into the sound I call nuFunk...so I took a few disco dipped tracks, a dash of lavish vocals, more than a handful of pumping funk , sauced it up with some edgier tracks, aaded a few new ones right off the mp3 press and Disco Pimped Gigolo for nearly 2 hours... and here is the result...LIVE. LIVE SESSIONS do not have track listings...so if you want to know the name of a groove it's time for Shazam. Sit back, put your legs up and look deep into the eyes of the Gigolo as you are about to get your ass pimped with some nuFunk house. | 3 6 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitGroove Is In The Arse | Groove Is In The Arse heads down a funky, chunky and very much in the arse shaking territory type of sound. More an extension that than anything else of ‘Groove Is I n The Heart’, this mix is a little tougher in parts with and edgier feel but still remains in the funkier realm. Yet again there are some remarkable remakes on here...it seems as I get older more and more tracks being redone. With a couple of bootlegs, some progressive tunes and lots of sexy beats, ‘Groove Is In The Arse’ is where it will hit you. The question is, are you a Heart or Arse man? 1. Sax Arena (Mitomi Tokoto Remix) / Daishi Dance (continued) 2. Don't Go (Jerry Ropero & DJ Mind Dirrrrty Remix) / Gruenwald Vs. Jerry Ripero Feat. Ela Wardi 3. ExplicitGroove Is In The Heart | Part one of a two part mix, Groove Is In The heart heads down the disco remix super highway with dome very uplifting and funky grooves in deed hitting you guess where? That’s right , a n arrow in to the heart.’ I love this song’ comes to mind as disco elements and pure funkiness dominates before it moves into what I can only describe as ska-flavoured house. A pumping beat with a ska style, trumpets and more dub. This sounds like it is moving from the heart to the arse. Not only are you going to feel it, your gonna shake it too. ‘Groove Is In The Heart’ features some great remixes all beefed and buffed for the 21st century including a fantastic take on the podcasts title track in the typical ‘progressive Spanish house style’. ExplicitHARD ON: PUTTING THE FUNK INTO FETISH | HARD ON has helped redefine FETISH in London by being the leading gay fetish club and challenging the old mentality about what fetish is, how the music should sound and who is attracted to it. Fetish is going through a transition from underground to mainstream and in this transitional period HARD ON redefined itself as London's dirty dance club. Now, moving towards its 8th Birthday it is about to throw down the gauntlet again to help modernise fetish for the 21st Century. Part of this process is moving venues to a more intimate club. The third room will be gone, with a room for play and a room for clubbing. The biggest challenges are the club room where the music needs to remain accessible to the younger generation who believe 'putting on a pair of chaps may change your sexual preferences, but it certainly doesn't change your taste in music'. The second challenge is to keep the old school happy with music that is sexy, underground and not only good to dance to but to f**k too as well. On this PUTTING THE FUNK INTO FETISH mix I showcase many tracks you will know, some you won't, and others you will grow to love. It takes the sexy approach...driving bass lines, uplifting crescendos, underground yet accessible. Familiar classics remixed, pure pumping sounds and arse banging beats combine to create my vision for a fetish soundtrack. You haven't seen a guy shake his ass like he does in chaps! Add boots, and it pure 'dirty dance club' at its horniest. I do not expect the hardcore lovers to go for this immediately, but step out of the past and into the future....otherwise you will go the way of the dinosaurs. The growing fetish market is definetly the younger and the curious. Hard On has shown by the amount of younger fetish crowd dropping in that their modern approach will help define the 'dirty dance club' and its relationship to fetish for a few years to come...and this is your soundtrack. Put some funk in your f*****g and some f*****g in your funk! TRACKLIST 1. Umbungo - Chocolate Puma Remix / Beat Thiefs 2. Enjoy NY (Etienne Ozborne Bootleg) / Riva Starr vs Chus Vs Rob Mirage 3. ExplicitCasa Latino 2011: No Americano Two | On Casa Latino I kick it up with another collection of Latin grooves, jazzy beats and pieces, foreign disco injection and progressive drum beats. This mix features tunes inspired by the We Speak No Americano style integrating 'traditional' Latin 'folk' music with driving beats. Typical, in that Spanish house kind of way, the merging of pumping house and camp 'little ditties' work well as they are inspired by latin passions. Included are remixes of more familiar tracks that have a percussive vibe and some funkier elements. Although not obvious at time of recording this collection of 18 tracks spanning over 1.5 hours of Latin flavoured grooves actually pumps in places. Coupled with the 'folk' music intervals Casa Latino goes from credible to incredible while at the same time being fun, fun, fun...and that is what is is all about. In summary I would define this mix of good time vibes as 'Spring In A Mix'. TRACKLISTING 1. SWING TIME (DAVID JONES RMX) // Will Gold 2. OH YEAH // Bass Kleph 3.
