Gelabert Residency at Dance Base - Dancer Vox Pops | Gelabert Azzopardi is a leading Spanish company based in Barcelona. Directors Cesc Gelabert and Lydia Azzopardi, plus two company members, came to Edinburgh in November 2011 for a nine-day long residency presented by the Edinburgh International Festival, at Dance Base. They worked with a group of local dancers aged 50 and above with the goal to broaden their existing vocabulary and expand new personal dance identities through movement.
