About time
Radio 4 should have been cleaning up the Podcast arena for some time now if they had taken the plunge and submitted more of their huge, excellent pantheon of material from their arts programmes a little sooner. We should all hope that more is to follow.
Best of BBC
This podcast provides highlights of BBC Radio 4's flagship daily arts programme. It covers arts, literature, film, media and music. Presenter Mark Lawson delivers his armor-piercing interview questions with disarming charm, style and thoughtfulness. I love the high-quality, non-flashy content. The only downside is that the 5 x 30 min programmes each week are condensed into just 1 x 30-35 min podcast.
Excellent
An excellent podcast from the BBC, great reviews and always interesting. Pity the back catalogue isn't available though.
