#325: Growing Up Geek/War Games | This week we check out a media object significant to Chuck's early development as a geek: War Games. We talk about the differences between getting "into" computers in the 80s vs. now, and each of us share some experiences with interacting with tech over the years. Also, as always, we run down the week in geek with lots of news and fun. | 28 5 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#324: Growing Up Geek/Flight of the Navigator | We kick off a new arc in which each of us choose one media object that had a significant effect on our development as a young geek. Up this week is Audra, who takes us on a tour of Flight of the Navigator. And we run down the week in geek, including the awesome Big Bang Theory wedding, news on the upcoming Fast Six flick, and some killer Mass Effect 3 buried dialog. | 17 5 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#323: Avengers Pt. 6, The Avengers | Finally! We watch the new Marvel Avengers flick and offer our comments and analysis. Excuse this short (but spoiler-free!) description, but suffice it to say that we had a great time and found lots of interesting moments/meanings. Can't wait to hear what you have to say, too. | 8 5 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#322: Avengers Pt. 5, Captain America | Avengers releases this upcoming week, so we're wrapping up our pre-Avengers re-watch of recent Marvel flicks with 2011's Captain America. We discuss Steve Rogers' unsung true superpower and the movie's interesting selection of rogues. And we run down the week in geek -- plus some fun general geeking-out over The Guild and other awesome web vids. | 29 4 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#321: Avengers Pt. 4, Thor | The Avengers release grows ever closer as we take a look at the general public's introduction to Marvel's Norse god Thor. We find inspiration in Thor's each-day-at-a-time attitude. We dig into the similarities between Shakespeare's plays and comic superhero stories, concluding that superhero tales may have a much longer lifespan of cultural significance than many suspect. And we run down the week in geek, including hope for new Star Trek on TV and a re-imagining of one of Audra and Chuck's favorite XBox console games, Baldur's Gate. | 23 4 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#317: John Carter (Live from Meetup) | During the GWC Meetup we took a group of GWCers to see the newly-released John Carter movie, then hit a local bar for beers, snacks, and some podcasting -- which you can hear as a segment in this week's cast. #316: Live from the 2012 Internat’l Meetup | We spend an hour and a half or so hanging out with some of our favorite people in the world -- the 2012 GWC International Meetup attendees! It's a pretty free-flow podcast, so if this is your first GWC 'cast, you might want to back up one or head forward one to get a better idea of what we do each week. But if you'd like to hear from 50 or so GWCers, you've come to the right place. | 25 3 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

And Ms. Hale offers some insight into breathing life into a character which the actor can't see or control -- all of which just gets us completely wound up to play our copies of ME3. | 13 3 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#314: Mass Effect 1/2 | We continue our Mass Effect 1 discussion, running down characters and races, then tread briefly into the second game's more advanced storyline. And we run down the week in geek, including some awesome new music, the Secret World of Arrietty, Transformers 4 possibilities, the future of Shia compared to other possibly-typecast actors, and lots more. | 27 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#312: Star Wars Ep. 4 Live Commentary | We follow up last week's Ep. 1 commentary with a real-time watch of OUR childhood Star Wars, Episode IV: A New Hope. You can queue up your DVD and watch along with us if you like, but it's not necessary. Either way you'll hear us re-discover this classic, enjoy some very special (to us, and probably you, too) scenes from our first introduction to the whiney Luke through his eventual (temporary) triumph over the evil Prows...I mean Vader. We also offer a few thoughts about Lucas' last big changes, including more Mos Eisley, more Jabba, and way more Darklighter. | 20 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#311: Star Wars Ep. 1 Live Commentary | In honor of this week's re-release of Star Wars Episode 1 in 3D, we fire up our cheap-ass 2D DVD of the movie and take you along for the ride. If you like, you can grab your own copy, sync it up, and follow along with us as we enjoy the effects, lament the childish J**J** moments, and get a big kick out of the droids. But it's not necessary. Feel free to enjoy this podcast as you wish. Next week we're following up with an Episode 4 commentary, comparing and contrasting the "firsts" of two different generations. | 13 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

#310: Bonus Live Meetup Q&A w/Chuck & Juan | In this bonus episode Chuck and Juan podcast live to answer questions from chat about the upcoming 2012 GWC International Meetup in Dallas, TX March 16-18. If this is your first GWC podcast, you might want to look back (or ahead) one for a normal GWC experience. Announcements: Our block of rooms releases on February 16th, so if you want to stay at the host hotel, it's best to book sooner rather than later. You may have trouble getting a room there after the 16th (though you can still attend, of course). Please RSVP if you want to attend. Even though there's no cost, we need the numbers for planning (you know, in order to keep it low cost). We also talk about some of the new events this year, like our additional live podcasts and sweet roundtable talks, plus tell some stories of meetups past. | 9 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

We talk mousewashing and how it's changed stories over the years, track Cinderella all the way back to 1 B.C., question the one-true-match theory, and get a big kick out of Cinderella as a tomboy, a killer father-daughter relationship, and the role of Utopia as a bond between them. We also run down the week in geek, including some Fassbenderesque boobs-against-the-window NYC exhibitionism, Sean's take on the new Underworld flick, a possible Spidey intro in the why-can't-I-see-this-today-Crom-why Avengers movie, thoughts on just how much early Dark Knight press is enough, Patrick Stewart's expressed desire for a film career, a serious Trek fan's divorce-fueled loss of his prize possession, creator's approval for the new Dredd re(boot/make), and joy for new Spartacus and new (Hooper-tastic) Archer. | 30 1 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

My favorite Battlestar Galactica podcast
I subscribe to four different battlestar galactica (I'm that much of a geek) and without doubt this is my favorite BSG cast, If not favorite cast ever. What seperates this podcast from all the others are the wonderful presenters. Their banter is really great fun to listen to and one they wholly support viewer participation. Their knowledge of BSG and the science fiction genre overall really halps create some clever and often funny conversations, such as "who is cooler; Gaius Baltar or Darth Vader" (I voted for Baltar, he rules)
Unbelivable fun
This podcast has what EVERY podcast should have. The ability to make you feel like your in the room. Raging Bullets has it and GWC has it. The hosts have a natural rapport, and insightful commentry. Bar far the most entertaining out of three BSG casts I've listened to.
Best Sci-Fi podcast from across the pond.
If you're a bit of a sci-fi fan this is the podcast for you! For me after a long day or if I'm on a long drive these are the people you want to around to chill out and talk about your favorite movies and shows. Always entertaining, always fun and sometimes thought provoking. it's like being down the pub with your mates. Brilliant!
