Welcome to my podcast 'How to Curate Your Life - Work Life Balance for the Creative Entrepreneur'. After 10 years working as a creative entrepreneur in the design world, I have learnt a thing or two about setting up and running a creative business and managing a portfolio career. One big thing I have found is that, if you're in it for the long game, staying inspired and taking care of yourself both physically and emotionally is crucial.

I’ve been lucky enough to met lots of inspiring people along the way who are trying to do the same. This podcast aims to celebrate the creativity and entrepreneurial endeavours of those individuals and get down to the nitty gritty together of how we ‘Curate Our Lives’ to help develop that all allusive ‘Work Life Balance’.

We’ll talk productivity, creativity, health (both mental and physical), self promotion, mindfulness, priorities and much more, all with a view to help you develop and nurture these good things and others and learn together ‘How to Curate Our Lives’ for the better.

So inspiring and wonderful guests

I absolutely love this podcast and have been binge-listening to it.

Lizzie is so easy to connect with and to listen to, she is both inspiring and down to earth. I also really enjoy the variety of guests that feature. 2020 has turned mine and my husbands world upside down with us both losing our jobs and there are a few podcasts which have really inspired me to follow some long held dreams - after 10 years of exhibiting I have just opened my online shop With Wild Lines selling my drawings and products, and my husband and I have set up our photography storytelling business We Are Found. Thank you Lizzie and guests for giving me courage and a whole lot of advice through this podcast.

I will definitely recommend this podcast to other creative beings!

A brilliant podcast for creatives

I started listening to this podcast a few months ago, and I’ve found every episode interesting, inspiring and full of great advice for creatives. It’s a joy to listen to interviews with a varied ranges of guests, and there always be something I can relate to. I’d recommend this podcast to anyone who is trying to get their work/ life balance right, and also likes hearing positive/ driven/ confident people talk about what they love to do!

Stop interrupting

I wanted to love this podcast. The guests are all great and I’m interested to hear their stories, which is why it’s such a shame that Lizzie always diverts the conversation back to herself. It would be great if she could take a step back and do more asking and listening rather than making it all about herself. The episode with Kristabel was particularly hard for me to listen to, Lizzie constantly interrupts. I also find it very off putting that there always seems to be eating cake or something which isn’t nice to hear in the background.
Sorry, I don’t want to sound like a troll, I love the music, it’s well put together and the guests are all very relevant. Interrupting the guest constantly just feels very rude and it’s awkward to listen to.
