Risk Management In The Charity Sector

Risk Management In The Charity Sector

Risks are inevitable. Charities who want to achieve their vision will have to be skilled in managing risk. A risk is typically understood to be something that has a potential adverse effect on the Charity. However, it can also be an opportunity.

Not all risks are equal though. Some are imminent, others unlikely. Some can potentially destroy a charity, and others would have a low impact.

    • How should charities identify, assess, mitigate and evaluate risks?
    • What processes facilitate effective risk management?
    • What tools must be used to managed risks appropriately?
    • Who owns the risks?
    • What is CRAPT?
    • How does risk management influence and affect other processes, policies and activities?

Just what I needed!

This was a great summary of GDPR as well as its practical application for charities in particular. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
