Unmissable!
As cinema's most famous Pod discoverers might have put it: They're already here!!! By "they" we mean Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode who are responsible for certainly the best Film Review Podcast and arguably one of the most entertaining Podcasts available. When it comes to the UK movie scene, if you want to know what's on, what it's all about (Alfie) and whether it's any good, you need look no further. The most highly-rated show on the Pod (and by highly-rated we're not talking adults only here - even Kermode's most entertaining rants rarely merit higher than a PG ... that's Perfect and Great.)
Best show ever
I can't help thinking that this podcast is indicative of the death of narrative radio...
Essential for Film Fans
I've been a big fan of Mark Kermode's reviews for years. I don't always agree with him, but he gives totally honest and intelligent reviews. The reviews on BBC FiveLive are of course, on at a time when most of us are working, so the podcasts are totally invaluable! Kermode and Simon Mayo make a great double act with their friendly arguments and bickering, their opinions and personalities contrasting well. This is definitely the one podcast I can't wait to get my hands on each week.
