Creating this Superbike Life video has become more than a simple process of editing motorcycles to music. To me, the very miracle of life itself and all its wonders has only recently been uncovered in my consciousness. I've also come to realize that riding or racing motorcycles very very fast suggests the highest form of human activity, an ultimate respect, incapable of b******t, the most pure expression of appreciation for this gift of life we are currently experiencing, if only for a lousy eighty years.... Floating, petty, upon this blue sphere amidst a violent and unthinkably large universe.

| 7 | VideoSuperbike Life - The Short Film | This 2007 short film was made and submitted for an open invitation from Steve Spielberg's 'On The Lot' television show in search of undiscovered directors. I, Mark Miller, gathered some friends and professionals together to give it a try and see how a motorcycle-theme story telling process might play out on the big screen, something I have been interested in doing since I was a boy. Making a film with actors was a bizarre but cool process, as it turned out, having professionals speak the lowly words of a simple motorcycle racer, with me, the fraud, pretending to direct a crew of eleven and literally forced to say the words "action" before every take. In the end, to make something remotely resembling the feel of a real film was more difficult than I thought it would be, but quite the rush to get through all the material on set, then see it slowly come together in editing.
