Some good stuff here but listen with care

Rob Bell well known for the nooma DVD series is one of the pastors at this church. His understanding of some of the Hebraic traditions at the time are very insightful in understanding parts of the bible clearer. However, do listen with care as some of their doctrines are a bit out - tending to focus more on reaching people with social care (which is great!) but at the expense of a personal saving relationship with God through Jesus (which should be critical - there is no gospel without it!). If you're after no messing sound biblical teaching which also has the outreach then please do check out the other Mars Hill church with Mark Driscoll.

Fascinating listening

So listeners criticize this podcast because they disagree with the views expressed or they praise it for being life changing. You know what: forget that, listen to it a couple of times and make your own mind up. I give it 5 stars because it's a highly professional product delivered for free, often features a diverse range of guest speakers and is never ever boreing. For me that makes it the best Religious or Philosophical podcast bar none. So give it a couple of trys, what have you got to loose?
