The truth, the whole truth and nothing but Jesus

Having listened to the audio podcast for the past three months, I have been so blessed by the depth and quality of teaching on offer here. Sure, he can be a little too sarcastic and cutting sometimes, but as Mark often says himself, he is a sinner saved by grace, like all of us, and will make mistakes. Forget the blogs/other pastors ripping him/what you have against the Irish; look at the theology of what Mark teaches - does it stand up? You won't find perfection because nothing is, but you will find solid, practical and culturally relevant teaching (Hello! We live in the 21st century!) Bless you, Mark, for not sacrificing what you believe, and for being faithful in speaking the truth, the whole truth and nothing but Jesus

Mark Driscoll is one of the best speakers I have ever heard, his theology is great and aims to build up the Church worldwide and not just Mars Hill - I love his total obedience to God! There are so many people who set out to take Mark down and we need to be praying for him in equal and exceeding quantity to these people. He isn't perfect - he doesn't claim to be though. Take what wisdom and help you can from what he is offering, using the discernment that the Holy Spirit gives you, and you will do well. "Between my closest friends/elders, my wife, God and the Devil, there isn't much with which you can critique me with, that I don't already know about" - Mark Driscoll (paraphrased)
