Pocket-lint Podcast #86 | It's podcast time again and the team discusses what Apple's next big thing could be after head of design Sir Jony Ive admitted that the product he's working on now is the one he'd most like to be remembered for. Plus, in a related chat, we look at the possible increase in screen size and resolution of the iPhone 5, and wonder if it'll be enough to compete in a market dominated by monstrous handsets. The Linters also wonder what consoles we may see launched at the forthcoming E3 videogames convention in LA. We know the Wii U will be properly unveiled, but what about the Xbox 720 and PS4? Chatting about these things and more are former Gamesmaster presenter and editor of news Rik Henderson, editor of features and BBC radio pundit Dan Sung, and contributing editor and roving reporter Hunter Skipworth. Therefore, the Linters explain the legal details behind the injunction on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe, what they think of Facebook's latest attempt to take over the world, and why hacktivist group Anonymous is unlikely to stop it from doing so. Plus, Android exclusive Grand Prix Story is our game of the week... Find out why. There's even a new news sting, for those who care about such tomfoolery. So, join the Linters for a battle-frenzied podcast, that's more Robin Hood than robbing hoodies. | 10 8 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Pocket-lint Podcast #49 | Sky's controversial announcement about the Formula One broadcast rights takes centre stage this week, as two Lint F1 fans, Rik and (new to the podcast) Hunter join the mass debate (fnar) on whether a pay TV model is right for the sport. While Dan wonders if Horace Luke's resignation from HTC could be bad for the handset manufacturer, or good for the rest of the industry. Apple's public break-up with Foxconn for iPad 3 manufacture is on the agenda, as is the latter company's prospective adoption of robots rather than staff members. And Hunter Newsgatherer talks us through the highlights of the Namco Bandai 2011/2012 games preview. Plus, find out what the team's favourite games of all time are. There's at least one surprise. Pocket-lint Podcast #48 | Everything was going to be so professional and slick this week... Until the Skittles Newlyweds viral video invaded the office, that is. Naturally, considering the subject matter, seriousness went south and the team decided to talk about that instead. Of course, Apple's mid-week launches couldn't be avoided by the plucky Pocket-linters, with Paul explaining exactly what's wrong with the new MacBook Airs (and any of the former ranges). Plus, the fake Apple Store in China gets a look in. Dan suggests that C3PO and R2D2 were the wrong choices for the Star Wars Xbox 360, and each of the team members explain how they'd most like their console pimped. Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty on iOS devices is the game of the week. Pocket-lint Podcast #46 | This week on the Podcast we try and go a little bit high-brow - kicking off with a chat about the very last launch in the 30-year Space Shuttle programme. We then move to more familiar tech ground, with a web-heavy show that features plenty of debate about Facebook and Skype's hookup for video calling within the social network. We discuss the awkward non-personality of the enigma that is Mark Zuckerberg, and ask whether Steve Jobs would have been ignored by a canteen full of live bloggers, whilst talking about trends and graphs. Stu also gives us the run-down on his latest findings within Google+ and we talk about how the Big G's new social avenue will take on Facebook, as well as chewing the fat over where next can the ubiquitous Google empire grow. All this and more (well, not much more - that's pretty much it). | 8 7 11 | Free | View In iTunes |

Pocket-lint Podcast #45 | It's a pseudo-US special this week as Stuart reports live from New York where he's been playing with LeapFrog LeapPad tablet for kids, and Rik explains what he was up to at the Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan. Dan has had to make do with good old blighty, but has been intrigued by comments made by Paul Hochman at the Forward with Ford Conference - surely we're not going to witness the ultimate death of Apple, are we? The team also look at the toys London store Hamleys tips for Christmas number one, and makes their own predictions for the far future of technology. Pocket-lint Podcast #44 | Stuart's back from E3 with tales of great games, amazing accessories and, er, slightly rude doo-hickeys. Elder Scrolls: Skyrim is previewed, and the team mulls over the prospect of game-related tongue sensors. No, really. Rik chats about his experience of sitting behind David Beckham and Zara Phillips and the Samsung Olympic Games campaign launch, while Dan is intrigued why so many people watch the pre-roll adverts on YouTube. In addition, the team explains why they think Apple has a true battle on its hands with the forthcoming Amazon Hollywood Android tablet. And reveal, one year on from the last time, which gadgets are currently floating their boat - with a few surprises in store. And discuss whether or not they'll ever use Google Wallet to pay for stuff, or are they already too old for the targeted demographic? Stu, Rik and Dan also whoop at the thought that the PlayStation Network is finally almost restored, and wonder if the "leaked" confirmation that Sony's working on the PS4 has anything to do with the bad press the company has been getting of late. Plus, DiRT 3 is the game review of the week, and the team explain which toys they'd most like to see in giant-sized real-world models. Pocket-lint Podcast #39 | This week is all been about big tech companies letting us down. Firstly Sony dropped the ball by completely cocking up with PlayStation Network security and then Apple tripped over it when it kind of admitted that it had been tracking us all along. Take a listen to hear our thoughts. It's not all tech doom and gloom though, Dan waxes lyrical about the amazing Samsung Galaxy S II and Stuart even mentions how it's tempted him to stray from his trusty iPhone. Stu and Dan also get all excited about the Royal Wedding (they've got their party frocks ready), whilst Paul sulks and instead tells us all about bludgeoning people to death in the brilliant new Mortal Kombat title (virtually, of course). Pocket-lint Podcast - episode #7 | There's plenty of Android chatter in this week's podcast as we discuss the HTC Hero getting its 2.1 update, whilst Nexus One owners are enjoying 2.2 and we look forward to 3.0 (gingerbread). We also discuss the pros and cons of the new MeeGo OS and hope for Nokia's sake that it proves a hit, as the Pocket-lint posse admit to feeling sorry for the Finnish phone giant. As we mourn the loss of the Kin and put it down to the fact there is no such thing as the 20-something hipster demographic, we also decide that the Kin handset mountain, which has presumably built up due to the lack of sales, should be dumped in the sea. Don't worry there's a perfectly rational explanation. The most tags attached to a group photo, and the future of TV are also discussed and Dan gloats as he sets off to Sweden in search of some high-end photographic tech. | 4 7 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Pocket-lint Podcast - episode #6 | With other members of the team off-site, catching up on the latest tech stories, news reporter Paul and sub editor Ben join news ed Rik for the Podcast this week. The antenna and screen issues are also on the agenda, and Rik suggests a fix or two. The winner of the £30 Plantronics bluetooth headset is announced, and the team explain why the Toshiba Libretto W100 could become a viable alternative to the iPad. Games reviews include Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 and Facebook fave EA Sports FIFA Superstars, while Ben reveals his hankering for the Motorola Droid X. | 26 6 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Pocket-lint Podcast - episode #4 | The fourth Pocket-lint Podcast sees a departure of sorts for the team, as the unveiling of the iPhone 4, naturally, dominates discussions. But that's not to say that non-Apple fanboys won't get anything out of it. For starters, there's genuine, real-to-honest prizes, care of Orange, to be given away... Additionally, with Stuart on holi... ahem... at E3, Rik and Dan are joined by Paul, Pocket-lint's intrepid news reporter, who has just returned from foreign climes himself; with a swollen foot and insect lurgy. All is explained, and it doesn't get any less bizarre. | 13 6 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

Not Great
Love the guys and the chat and overall content BUT sound levels are all over the place making it horrible to listen to and it almost never downloads properly from itunes. The latest episode is saying it's 56k.
