Such an entertaining show

I've been a fan of Ryan and Jen since the fantastic Transmission (Lost Podcast) and was so excited when they started another show.

Popspotting is a multi-topic show covering popular music, tv shows, books and movies. Currently in a bite size 20 minutes or so a day it's an ideal size to catch up on when you need a quick hit of entertainment.

The show centres on Ryan and Jen's opinion and review of various subjects and they are very encouraging of feedback and suggestions.

The show is still in 'beta' mode, so why not give it listen and feedback !!!

Aloha !

Bite-Size!

Exactly as "CatParky" says: these are handy twentyish minute shows. It's not always easy to dedicate 40/60/75 or more minutes to a show in one go.
And there's a great range of relevant topics covered: TV & film, books, etc... Jen and Ryan are a nice happy couple who are also very willing to check out fans' suggestions.

The archived pocasts from 2005 are even shorter (circa 10 mins) and it's great to go through those because it reminds us of stuff that was happening at the time (films for example) that we may well have forgotten about - but aren't totally out of fashion.

Delightful Daily Dose of Pop Culture

I've been listening to Ryan and Jen since c. 2005, when I started following their Lost podcast ("The Transmission"). In fact, theirs was the only Lost podcast I faithfully followed till the show ended. I did feel a great loss when The Transmission ended so am glad I can continue to listen to Ryan and Jen regardless.

This podcast is varied (each day covers a different media, eg Film, TV, Music, Books, Phone Apps, etc) and on Fridays we get to hear other listeners' comments on previous podcasts. Ryan and Jen have an easy-flowing, relaxed but precise conversational style. Their enthusiasm for the stuff they review is often very infectious and I have more than once checked out various TV shows, or books etc previously unknown to me because of this podcast. I also love how they have weekly guests, sometimes hosts of other podcasts, who also make recommendations worth following up.

If, like me, you are a bit of a pop culture geek, this podcast is an absolute must! Well recommended!
