Entertaining and informative astronomy podcast
The Astropod is a very well produced astronomy podcast from a bunch of hardworking post-graduates at the University of Cambridge. They pack the show with interesting news, in-depth interviews and highlights of the upcoming observing calendar. The interviews are with researchers from the Institute itself, providing a wide range of research topics at the cutting-edge of astrophysics. They explain their areas of interest well and make it useful for those outside of the academic field. The always entertaining (!) joke of the month adds a bit of a light relief. Overall it is a great podcast, providing a nutritious helping of astronomy goodness. Keep up the good work guys!
Where is the Astropod?
This podcast hasn't worked (downloaded) since March 09. Apparantly this isn't a 'valid URL'. Shame, as I always enjoyed it - a good and informative production. Here's hoping the technology is fixed soon!
Great!
