Customer Reviews
The Monocle Weekly Nos. 1- 10
The Monocle Weekly is now firmly established as a solid extension to Monocle monthly (by far the best publication on world newsstands) and reinforces the core principles that are at the heart of the magazine. All I can say is: if you have a wide view of the world and are looking to join a group of people who share and promote that vision, then look no further than Monocle and Monocle Weekly. Subscribe to both and see (and hear) the future. A Perfect 10.

Required weekly listening.
Great but drop the music
Big fan of the Magazine and, by enxtension, of the podcast, but am not blinkered enough to be able to ignore any shortcomings. In this case it is culture editor Rob Bound's selection of music. Rob other cultural work is highly recommended but muscially it is vapid & without imagination. Most is nordic or japanese reworking of soft jazz. Of course, music reviews are aplenty and I suppose credit should be given to any attempt to avoid the obvious high profile releases, but the selection is so soft as to be akin to elevator music. Sorry Rob!
