Words Fail Me 26 - Feb 2012 | This month Dave and Neil are back in London, on the day of the BAFTA awards. Sadly our invites were not in the post, so we retreated to a noisy coffee shop in Convent Garden to record this months podcast. Our Guest dictionary opener this month was Peter Duncan, ex-Blue Peter presenter, actor, and former Chief Scout. He chats to Dave about the Scout Movement, the importance of looking to the future, and the word 'only'. Dave and Neil then go on to discuss Onions (this is an onion flower by the way), Haggling versus ONO, climbing steps and carefully avoiding the topic of One Night Stands. Apologies for all the background noise, we will never learn! Download at itunes or here at Podbean This was the view of the BAFTAs being set up outside the coffee shop. Thanks to Peter Duncan, his personal website can be found at http://www.heresoneimadeearlier.com and to Talk in Colour for the music, find out where you can see them at http://www.talkincolour.com | 26 2 12 | Free | View In iTunes |

Words Fail Me 25 - January 2012 | It may only been a week since the last podcast went online, but we are back already! In the first podcast of the New Year we visited the Comedy Pub in London, for no other reason than it was raining, and it looked nice and warm and dry. Dave sorted a brilliant first guest dictionary opener for this month, none other than the magician Paul Daniels. The interview was recorded just before the painful incident that recently got him in the news. Dave and Paul chat about how to do magic, the Olympics, the joys of being an entertainer and he even teaches Dave a new trick! We then go on to talk about his chosen page, and the conversation covers topics such as the length of a novel, Super Nova and the concept of Nowhere. Thanks again to Talk in Colour for the music, and you can find out where you can see Paul Daniels on his website.
