| 1 | HDVideoEmpire of the Sun | Professor Brian Cox explores the powerhouse of them all, the sun. In India he witnesses a total solar eclipse and in Norway, he watches the battle between the sun's wind and Earth, as the night sky glows with the northern lights. Beyond earth, the solar wind continues, creating dazzling aurora on other planets. Brian explains the effect of the sun's greatest power - gravity - and how it reaches out for hundreds of billions of kilometres. | 58:33 | £2.49 | View In iTunes |
| 2 | HDVideoOrder Out of Chaos | Discover how beauty and order in Earth's cosmic backyard was formed from nothing more than a chaotic cloud of gas. Chasing tornados in Oklahoma, Professor Brian Cox explains how the same physics that creates these spinning storms shaped the young solar system. Out of this celestial maelstrom emerged the jewel in the crown, Brian's second wonder - the magnificent rings of Saturn. | 58:47 | £2.49 | View In iTunes |
| 3 | HDVideoThe Thin Blue Line | Discover how something as flimsy as an envelope of gas - an atmosphere - can create some of the most wondrous sights in the solar system. Professor Brian Cox takes a flight to the top of earth's atmosphere, where he sees the darkness of space above and the thin blue line of our atmosphere below. Against the stunning backdrop of the glaciers of Alaska, Brian reveals his fourth wonder: Saturn's moon Titan, shrouded by a murky, thick atmosphere. | 59:10 | £2.49 | View In iTunes |
| 4 | HDVideoDead or Alive | The worlds that surround our planet are all made of rock, but there the similarity ends. Some have a beating geological heart, others are frozen in time. Professor Brian Cox travels to the tallest mountain on Earth, the volcano Mauna Kea on Hawaii, to show how something as basic as a planet's size can make the difference between life and death. Yet the fifth wonder in the series isn't on a planet at all. It's on a tiny moon of Jupiter. | 58:36 | £2.49 | View In iTunes |
| 5 | HDVideoAliens | All life on Earth needs water so the search for aliens in the solar system has followed the search for water. Professor Brian Cox examines the patterns in the ice on Jupiter's moon Europa, which reveal an ocean far below with more potentially life-giving water than all the oceans on Earth. But of all the wonders of the solar system forged by the laws of nature, there is one that stands out as Brian reveals the greatest wonder of them all. | 59:17 | £2.49 | View In iTunes |

Just fantastic
Possibly one of the best space series ive ever seen, Carl Sagan's Cosmos being the only one that rivals it. I must admit I took a while to warm to Prof. Brian Cox but now i find he is a joy to watch, his passion and enthusiasm for cosmology is enthralling. This series is more in depth that Prof. Stephen hawking's Universe (which is more of a beginners guide to space) and I highly advise anyone with even the tiniest interest in space to purchase this truly remarkable series.
Five Stars
It's an absolutely brilliant show. And Professor Brian Cox is pretty hot.
Out of this world.
This is an excellent program and professor Brian Cox does a very good job at explaining the more intricate parts of our solar system and the science behind it.
I highly recommend this as there is something for everyone from the novice to the more advanced space nerds.
Buy and enjoy!
