Quite Good, but needs improvement

This app, pages, is very good. Once, when I was doing my social studies reserch paper, I needed to write a report about it. I chose the ‘school report’ templates, and ta-da!! A brand new and good school project appered!! It was awesome. The design was good too. I got high marks and this app doesn’t even need me too pay!! It was good. I hope every app was like this.
But, I think it needs to have more templates. Once, I wanted to make a timetable, but when I searched it in the app, there was no ‘timetable’ templates. So, I can just use Xcel or Microsoft Office. I hope it can make some new templates like timetables. Besides templates, other things were good, too. they allow you to upload photos to your report, too.

The latest version of pages was not as reliable as before

It is used to be the most favourite writing apps on my iPad but the latest version at the time of writing this (29 Oct 2019) fails to do the job. For instance, I need to write essay in Japanese. The phonetics function is broken. Every time I tired to add phonetics to the Japanese words it jumps to the first page of the document. In addition, i can’t type the comments in the comment box. The comment window was simply closed at the time I tried to type something in it.

Members in Apple support teams of this apps. Please take a look again and see what’s going on. If the problems / bugs were not fixed, it would be better not to update.

Desktop app approximation

I can see the effort the developing team from bringing many new handy tools to mobile Pages app. Pages on iOS is responsive and visually appealing. The recent added feature Table of content is highly customizable by giving me the option to config what hierarchy and format to show.

Some Suggestions:

# Format and Keyboard

Supporting auto turning the bullets & lists by typing the preceding * or - , just like notes
Have some handy format bar like notes

# Navigation (on iPhone) or viewing

Preserve the last view in Navigation. For instance, I use TableOfContent a lot and I have to switch every time from Page Thumbnails on mobile Pages
Including the bookmark in the Navigator
Ability to view the content without presenting them in a ”Page” form on all platforms. I always work on the content prior formats.
