Album Review

Award-winning Irish band the Chieftains perform on this DVD. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is impressively rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, but the fine music and the guest performances by Roger Daltrey and Nanci Griffith should make this disc worthwhile for any fan of Irish music. Songs performed include "Paddy's Jig & O'Keefes," "Lilly Bolero," and "Ford Econoline," as well as over a half-dozen others.
