Michael Lives on

Michael is an absolute legend and will always be the king of pop. This album is amazing and did not come a moment too soon. Long live Michael

Michael - Back Again (not quiet)

Firstly let me say that this is a reasonably good album overall. I have been a MJ Fan since the 1980's. 'Michael' is what I would call a hybrid album with music from The King of Pop that could possibly fit into any of his solo albums. It must be remembered that even classic albums such as 'Off the Wall', 'Thriller' and 'Bad' had mediocre moments to them.

Monster which features 50 Cent could be from Dangerous and is a cross between Thriller, Ghosts & Threatened. Hold My Hand is a 'nice' number, a solid opening. Behind the Mask is probably the best track on the album and features Jackson's voice energized and full of the life, a trait that made him so very infectiously famous, it is more Pre 'Bad' than post 'Thriller' era. 'Hollywood Tonight' is getting many plaudits but this leaves me cold and is all too familiar of the 'sanitized' and 'layered air brushed' vocals that Jackson employed over the later years, it just not seem to have any sense of joy in it. Since MJ stopped working with Quincy Jones, his music has lacked melody, harmony, good instrumentation and the feeling that he was truly enjoying the musical process.

Keep Your Head Up, The Way You Love Me and Best of Joy are B sides at best and are largely unimaginative. Breaking News is a poor effort and is questionable in its authenticity. Another Day is a decent tune and could fit into the Bad album but it once again lacks any real energy. The final song 'Much Too Soon' is a good ending to an album that has its moments, though not many. Then again, what more do we want from a musician that has already given so much?

brillaint!

This album is amzaing a defo must buy. The only problem i will say about this album it's very short roughly 40 mins long but the music on it you could listen to it over and over again. The second single on it to be released is monster with a video of michael recording the song so people saying it's not him is rubbish tabloid trash talk if ya listen to it a few times you know it's Michael Jackson :D for any lover of michael this is an excellent album to buy. from soft songs to dance to a lil bit of rock and orchestra there is a song on there for everyone.

Michael Jackson was unquestionably the biggest pop star of the '80s, and certainly one of the most popular recording artists of all time. In his prime, Jackson was an unstoppable juggernaut, possessed of all the tools to dominate the charts seemingly at will: an instantly identifiable voice, eye-popping dance moves, stunning musical versatility, and loads of sheer star power. His 1982 blockbuster Thriller became the biggest-selling album of all time (probably his best-known accomplishment), and he...
