Lovin' it
I bought this after sampling it on iTunes and because I have always loved the kind of music they use on Scrubs, and I am not disappointed. It's lovely, full of melody, harmony and catchy tunes that keep running around in your head afterwards. In the late 70s and early 80s I used to listen to a guy called Steve Forbertt and this is so like his music that I'd swear it was him by another name if Joshua wasn't 20+ years younger! Very Forbert-esque, especially "They bring me to you". The girls' voices are beautiful and the harmonies work really well with just one exception, that's " You got growin' up to do". I don't like Patti Griffin's voice and I don't like the song anyway. So 10 great songs out of 11 is OK by me. I'll be in the queue for his next album.
Great Sound, Cool Guy!
I heard in the back ground his album being advertised on TV recently but I didn't pick up on his name properly, I googled what I thought his name sounded like but no match.... I saw him on the 'Late Late Show' Ireland, tonight so I downloaded the album and I am not disappointed, sounds cool & looks cool.He is playing at Oxygen in the Summer but I would prefer to see him indoors so I will wait to see him when he comes back, hopefully soon. Great Stuff!
A must buy
I have this album a few months and listen to it on a regular basis. Cool chill out relax music. A must have for your collection.
