Album Review
Two years in the making, This Is Happening is LCD Soundsystem’s third — and rumored to be final — proper studio album. Although it is led by the rowdy rave-up rocker “Drunk Girls,” electronics dominate the set, as heard in the chaotic “One Touch,” the left-field synth pop of “I Can Change,” and the placid “Somebody’s Calling Me.”

A self-effacing spoof of the outrageous p*****g contests that often occur whenever music geeks cross paths ("I was there at the first Can show in Cologne," etc.) laid over a puttering electronic beat with the occasional bursts of discoid clatter, the track was also one of the first released on the DFA label.
