Feel like an idiot

On Tuesday last 3.25pm I flew in from the UK Ryanair. I had spent the previous day of my holiday ensuring I got the mandatory COVID Antigen test. No check was made either at the boarding stage of my departure or at customs when I arrived in Dublin airport. The test cost me £30 Sterling - I feel I should be reimbursed. In addition I’ve been informed that no one, arriving by private plane requires testing!!!

A question I’ve always pondered, how many airline staff have been infected by COVID since the start - what does the graph look like?

I’m beginning to think there is something sinister about the whole COVID situation - and I am no conspiracy theorist.

Full Screen Adverts, Broken User Accounts, & Woefully Plagued

Total waste of time. Can’t log in, can’t leave comments, they don’t respond to issues when you contact them about it. Even while writing this review I couldn’t see the test I am writing - I had to guess whether I am spelling things right and not being autocorrected but wistale. Pure shirt

Secondly, you will need mobile phone number and a Facebook, or Twitter, account to use the comments. Even then this might not work. I don’t use either social network, so I had to create a Twitter account. I struggled to successfully post any comments on their website, until I downloaded this app. Then, when I downloaded the app, logged into my (new) Twitter account through the app, then tried to leave a comment, it then asked me for a telephone number to verify my account. After doing this once, my comment successfully posted. Now, every time I try to comment, it continues to ask me for my mobile number. When I put my mobile number in it just tells me that my number is already in use with a user account, and won’t post what I write.

Woefully plagued website/app which is milking its reader base without fixing its issues.

The Write Stuff

I enjoy my daily engagement with The Journal as I find the variety of topics covered, satisfies my appetite for honest, up to date, entertaining, responsibly sourced and informative copy. I believe the quality of the journalism to be of the highest standards comparable to the best quality news media. I don’t let a day pass without reading The Journal, knowing that I’m reading the most up to date material on national and global news. The long reads are particularly enjoyable and I’d welcome a little more emphasis on The Arts, book/ film / theatre reviews. Well done to all at The Journal.
