Nice app, but few bugs.
The app is perfect, except there is a small bug while adding a new home, it keeps asking for location and on tapping the Settings, it doesn’t actually go to Settings. And even in Settings, Google Home doesn’t actually ask for location for users to enable it as well. So it’s kinda stuck there itself. There is also a bug while trying manage the Nest Mini, it doesn’t detect the Mini connected under the same network in a single go, I kinda have to keep restarting the app again and again.
Excellent Home Automation App, But Could Use Widgets!
I've been using the Google Home app for quite some time now, and I must say, it's been a game-changer in simplifying my smart home experience. The user interface is intuitive, and the integration with various devices is seamless.
However, I do have one suggestion for improvement. It would be fantastic if the app could incorporate widgets for quick and easy control of devices like bulbs and other smart home appliances. This would greatly enhance the accessibility and convenience of managing my smart home setup.
Overall, the Google Home app is a top-notch platform for home automation, and with the addition of widgets, it would truly be a 5-star experience. Kudos to the development team for creating such a user-friendly and powerful tool!
Google Mini
Google mini is like my companion and whatever thought comes in my mind I just ask it and it gives me satisfactory reply. If your music lover and if you have chromcast with you, it really works wonder and plays whatever you ask it.
Microphone of Mini is really powerful and it catches your instruction nearly more than 20 feet. Even its speaker is too good and I doesn’t require additional speakers attached to it. It also works with all smart items of your and works wonderfully.
It is worth having it.
