Bad customer support and misinformation
I booked a hotel room with higher area among the available rooms in that hotel as shown in the images in Cleartrip website/ app. While checking in, I was provided a room with comparatively less area than that shown in these images. When I asked the hotel staff, they told that they have no other available rooms. After checking out, I called customer support of Cleartrip, and I was connected to hotel customer support. Then I came to know that I was provided the same room type which I booked but the images in Cleartrip for this room type were interchanged with those of the other type of room. When I spoke with Cleartrip support again, they simply told that it was my mistake that I haven’t verified the room I booked and they didn’t even accept their mistake in misrepresentation of images in their website. They didn’t even ensure that these type of errors would be rectified in future. How can one trust Cleartrip if they throw the blame on customer for their mistake and negligence? Will never book anything on Cleartrip in future.
Very poor service - unnecessarily holding back my money
The service provided by this company to its customer is an example of how a company should not do its customers.
My flight (spicejet) was cancelled last year due to COVID issues and got msg that the amount will be in credit shell which when I tried to rebook the ticket was showing to contact customer care. I contacted spicejet customer care, they told me they have nothing to do as it was booked through cleartrip.
When I tried to contact cleartrip there was not even a single number to contact, so I sent an email to cleartrip customer care for which they said their customer care executive will be contacting me within 24 hrs. Now already one month is gone and not a single person from cleartrip contacted me. I think they are not ready to take responsibility for refunding or rebooking my ticket.
If these sort of fraudulent activities are followed by cleartrip without valuing customers money, donno how they gonna survive.
Really felt sorry for all the customers like me who is facing the same issue as cleartrip unnecessary holding back our money.
