The Italian Country singer George McAnthony celebrates his 20th anniversary with this album. And it turned out great! It opens with the uptempo "I'm Not Afraid" followed by the beautiful duet “Bridge To El Dorado” with Jacqueline van der Griendt. "Twenty Years On The Road" comes with great fiddles. Melodic tunes such as "Follow The Star" and "Sailor Boy" go right in the ear. Lovely too, “Old Friends” with a nice Dobro, played by Patrick Van Gerven. As another duet partner George invited the famous dutch country singer Dick van Altena for the song “Mother Nature”. All songs are written by George McAnthony, except the soundtrack of the Italian western movie “They Call Me Trinity”. George McAnthony is very popular beyond Italy's borders. In Europe he has received numerous awards for his music. This album “Bridge To El Dorado” will be another big success. Great country songs, great playing and a great singer! My recommendation for this month!
George McAnthony's 13th album “Bridge To El Dorado” has been given airtime on the international radio network by “Comstock Records USA”, and arrived second at the „European Country Music Awards“ 2009 in the Category "Best European Country Album of the Year".
