Description
The two-week intensive UCLA Advanced Neuroimaging summer school, presented by the UCLA Neuroimaging Training Program (NITP), provides a solid foundation in state-of-the-art functional neuroimaging methods. The course features lectures from UCLA faculty and a distinguished international group of scientists, covering data acquisition, experimental design, and data analysis. At the end of the 2 week period, students design, execute and analyze an fMRI in small groups. Ouraudience is researchers at all levels of their careers (beyond undergraduate), including graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and PI's in neuroscience, broadly defined. Participants should have basic skills in statistics and computing; previous exposure to neuroimaging is preferable. The podcast includes 40 hours of lectures and is supported by a rich set of on-line materials. The UCLA Advanced Neuroimaging Summer School was made possible with generous support from the National Institutes of Health. The next session of the Neuroimaging Summer Program will take place July 14-25, 2008.
