The Center for Women at Emory, established in 1992, offers learning experiences that help Emory women transform themselves and society. Its educational programs link the individual woman’s personal creativity to a life lived in community and reflect the diverse views of women in all walks of life. The center provides advocacy, support, and the opportunity to transform concerns into action. The Mary Lynn Morgan Annual Lectureship brings to campus women who have distinguished themselves in a variety of roles in the health professions. Dr. Morgan will assist in selecting the annual speakers. The Center for Women at Emory established in 1999 the Mary Lynn Morgan Annual Lectureship on Women in the Health Professions, which honors one of Emory's most beloved and respected citizens. Telling Our Stories gives Emory women the opportunity to share their experiences.As we women tell the stories of our personal and professional lives, we begin to see the threads in the fabric of womankind, our commonalities as well as our differences. The stories of women's lives serve as models of courage for the women and men who listen.
