Dr. John Currid, professor of Old Testament at RTS Charlotte, speaks in this seminar on the relationship between the Old Testament and other Ancient Near Eastern Literature. Through comparing numerous Old Testament accounts with those of other Eastern Literature, such as the Epic of Gilgamesh, Dr. Currid sets out to examine the uniqueness of Old Testament writing and the tension that is created between Yahweh and the Egyptian pharaohs and gods.
