Description
The Rappaport Center for Law and Public Service promotes dialogue among scholars, lawyers, students, policymakers, and government officials on critical public policy issues by organizing lectures, roundtable discussions, and conferences. Recent public policy programs have examined the future of media, Massachusetts charter schools, state budget, ethics and lobbying reform, the federal financial rescue plan, managing the bailout, government secrecy, human trafficking, health care reform in Massachusetts, homelessness, and green communities. The Rappaport Center works with numerous partners including the Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston at the Harvard Kennedy School, the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, the Pioneer Institute, the Ford Hall Forum, and state and local bar associations.
