Searle phlo mind
The philosophy course I wish I had had in graduate school. Packed with insights. Clearly a luminary, one of Americas foremost pholosophers tho loose repetitive and rambling at times (status post subdural); nonetheless probably the smartest philosopher I've ever heard. Solid background in history of philo and some phenomenology will help but not necessary for bright careful listener. Changed the way I think about thinking and I still have 4 lectures to go. A treasure hope it stays on the web forever.
Absolutely brilliant
He is one of the most brilliant philosopher on this planet. His lectures are brevity, precision and thought-provoking
Excellant, first rate content, terrible recording
First rate and engaging course on philosophy of mind; but, terrible recording technique (as of first 5 lectures) with very loud, distracting noises throughout the lecture compared to other iTunes courses. Its like sitting next to the rudest student on campus while university's best professor is lecturing. Ah well, nothing's perfect….
