Description
Engineering at Brown University is a scholarly research community that encourages exploration and believes strongly in the value of interdisciplinary pursuits. The engineering program at Brown University is the oldest in the Ivy League and the third oldest civilian engineering program in the United States. Our historical roots include a unique structure organized around a core curriculum and collaborations across disciplines. Brown engineers build bridges — between departments and disciplines, between institutions and organizations, between science and commerce — to create practical solutions to pressing problems.
