Description
Student organizations associated with the University of South Florida School of Information (SI) include student chapters of the American Library Association (ALA), the American Society for Information Science & Technology (ASIS&T), and the Special Libraries Association (SLA). In our mission to encourage networking and professional development, we host weekly Brown Bag meetings and monthly After Dark Lectures. Topics range from the career paths of local librarians to the research interests of SI faculty and students to issues facing individual libraries in the Tampa Bay area. The audio recordings of these meetings and lectures are available for download here.
