Western Movies: Myth, Ideology and genre
The lectures are quite interesting but not being able to see the clips of the movies and not hear the answer to his question from the student body ruins the effect of the lectures. Being a video lecture you would think that the movie clips that he uses to point up his lecture of each film would very much be a part of the course and so I was disappointed and felt totally outside the lecture and the courses agenda.
Great, introspective considerations
Fun to untangle film. It reminds me of the book 'Images of Madness' by Michael Fleming which has a similar approach but with psychological analysis with visuals and sound. Marvelous.
