Description

Wuthering Heights is Emily Brontë’s only novel. The story is told in layers, a format that has earned the novel much praise despite initial mixed reviews. It is the story of Catherine and Heathcliff and how their unresolved passion eventually destroys them both. This work is a part of the Lit2Go collection, a collaboration between the Florida Department of Education and the University of South Florida College of Education. Lit2Go is dedicated to supporting literacy teaching and learning by providing access to historically and culturally significant literature in K-12 schools.

too fast

the narrator is reading so fast, she sounds like she is out of breath. hard to listen to and enjoy, or digest.

It's Free?! :O

I truly can't believe this is free! Well-pronounced words and just the right pace. Also, the text is all right there in case it is easier to follow along with both. Research has actually proven that you learn best wen you read both ways together. :)

horrible reader!

this reader is horrible. her diction is terrible and she mispronounces LOTS of words, which makes listening to this audiobook basically unbearable. the least she could have done is look up the words she didn't know before reading each chapter and figure out how to say them correctly. also, she does this INSANE accent for one of the characters that completely ruins those entire paragraphs of dialogue. there's no way to understand what the heck she's reading. really unfortunate. find this somewhere else. don't waste your time on this one.
