J-WAVEで最初にOnAirされた曲です
J-WAVE開局前におこなわれていた試験電波(1988/8/1開始）では時報の前に必ずオンエアされ、1988年10月1日午前5時の開局の記念すべき1曲目でした。その後、日曜深夜の放送休止のアナウンスの際にオンエアされています。（数年前からフルにオンエアされなくなりましたが・・）同名のタイトルの番組のテーマ曲として使用されていた時期もあり、いずれにしてもJ-WAVEのテーマ曲と言える曲で20年たった今でもその荘厳さはそのままです。
