The former leader of Japanese folk-rock powerhouse Off Course, Kazumasa Oda (born September 20, 1947) began his solo career in 1985. He released a number of hit singles, including "Love Story," the theme song to a television drama, that was a multi-million seller. His albums were just as popular, the first — K. Oda — was released in 1986, and over the years he has released over ten more, including the highly successful compilations Jiko Best (2002) and Jiko Best, Vol. 2 (2007).
