Talabat: Food, grocery & more 4+

Waiting for Talabat Premium

I filled a survey in the app about the probability of offering subscriptions where the subscribers will get free delivery. This is a great thing, but I want to get more features as a premium user: I want to be able to create lists like: favorite restaurants, fav italian restaurants, fav american, fav lebanese.. Also, I want to be able to write notes (just like comments, but for myself) for each of the restaurants of those lists. (Because right now i use the notes app to write the names of my favorite restaurants and to write notes about them.) Also, I want to be able to hide the restaurants that I expect that I will never order from. It would be great if I can get those features, because I really need them. Thanks.

Bad service and experience

The only thing that i can say is that Talabat is getting worst everyday by day. Starting from their customer service, Delivery and Quality of food!

two weeks ago i order from Talabat Mart a slices of Turkey and once arrived i just discovered that its expired long ago i submitted the photo to their customer service and i asked if someone from their management to talk to me and they have only retuned my money to their wallet with ignoring my request!!

yesterday i ordered an ice cream and before i submit my order it was written that it will take approximately 20 to 30 minutes and the order arrived maybe around one hour! i spoke with their customer service and they were just cool me down by talking to me a lot as i felt like they were chatting with me to make the time pass so they can get extra minutes. Honestly i felt like they were fooling me and that thing made me disappointed and look for alternative apps which respect me and serve me in a way which i deserve.

and one more thing! if we made a request of refund please send the money back to our bank accounts not your wallet as we might not order from you again and do not use this technique to force your app users to re order from you again.

after all i know this review will do nothing but anyways i am sharing as i might this will make an impact against Talabat and their way of how they deal with they customers.

work on their delivery time estimate

Accuracy in these time predictions can be hit or miss, influenced by factors like traffic or kitchen workload. This may lead to customer dissatisfaction due to unmet expectations and can unfairly affect restaurants on these platforms, especially if they are smaller establishments or contending with unavoidable delays.

To improve this, one suggestion is to eliminate the focus on delivery times as a main criteria in these apps, thus promoting choices based on food quality or value. Or, if delivery times must remain a focal point, refining their accuracy could mitigate some of these issues.
