About Helene Fischer
Since her 2006 debut, German pop star Helene Fischer has scored the year-end best-selling LP in Germany on five separate occasions, and she’s sold over 16 million albums worldwide. ∙ Her first Gold-selling hit came in 2009 with the dance-pop single “Ich will immer wieder… Dieses Fieber spür’n.” ∙ The English Ones—her 2010 English-language compilation album—introduced international audiences to her synth-pop schlager music. ∙ Michael Bolton duetted with Fischer on a sentimental acoustic cover of Bob Dylan’s “Make You Feel My Love” for 2011’s Gems: The Duets Collection. ∙ “Atemlos durch die Nacht” became her first international Top 10 hit, propelling her 2013 album, Farbenspiel, to multi-Platinum status in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. ∙ Disney selected her to record the German-language version of “How Far I’ll Go,” the Grammy-winning theme song from the animated film Moana. ∙ She has won 17 of Germany’s prestigious Echo Music Prizes, including three consecutive victories for Album of the Year in 2014, 2015, and 2016.
