Mumbai On The Go is an app for everyone that commutes within Mumbai or plans to visit the city. Whether you travel by bus, taxi, train, or even by auto rickshaw, this application will provide you with all the information you need. This application will be immensely useful for first time visitors to the city.
Features:
One time charge. No 3G/EDGE/internet or any data services required at any time.
Bus: Planning your travel by bus has never been simpler. This application has 3 different ways for searching for a particular route. You can search by area, by bus stop and check the route a certain bus follows. For destinations that don’t have a direct route, 2 level switching is provided with great efficiency with an easy to understand interface. Information section with fare structure and bus pass information is now available.
Taxi: Taxi fares are available for meter readings from 1.00 to 99.00 including midnight charges. Fare structure and information about radio taxis is also available in the Taxi information section.
Train: A search for trains on all 4 lines (Western, Central, Harbour and Thane-Vashi) by time interval is provided with a simple to use interface. (NEW) Trains are now categorized into Fast and Slow trains. (NEW) Train fare calculation in real-time for all 4 lines. Train map and information on abbreviations are now available in the information section.
Auto Rickshaw: Auto rickshaw fares are available for meter readings from 1.00 to 99.00 including midnight charges.(Updated with new fares with effect from 20th April 2012). The fare structure is also available in the information section.
