Editors' growth in depth and feeling

To put it plainly, some critics do not know what they write about. I refer to the review supplied through iTunes. Even at the first glance, An End HAs A Start strikes as an album with much more depth and feeling than its predecessor. The whole album is about loss, grief, mourning, mortality. In a word: the Editors are grieving, and they turned that emotion into one fantastic album. It has been a long time since I've so fully embraced an album like this.
