Wow

Wat een ongelooflijk mooie app voor de iPad. Levert strakke foto's, mooie video's, heerlijke artikelen en alles "in house" in de edities. Probeer zelf de proefversie en koop de edities die je zelf interesseren. Abonnement niet nodig.

Sports illustraded

It's one off THE best sportingmagazine afrond. If You like American sports this is THE magazine too get.

Still far to go to make it easy use

I checked the sample issue, and while the design is not too bad overall, it has just so many annoyances to make you scream.
- you rotate the iPad while you want to watch a video: bang, you are back at the page. Happens more often than you would think, because video is landscape, and the magazine read in portrait.
- they have images going over multiple pages, and instead of being able to view and scroll these images as one unit, you can only swap pages, and the image parts have overlap as you need it for print, but annoy us digitally
- there is no text search (isn't that the one function making text so much more useful on a computer?)
- they had a piece on team USA, and in that presentation they made the click area to switch between players way too small, and there was no navigation to page through them.
- the app crashed on me after just 5 minutes
