An excellent album
According to newspaper reviews and interviews, Montée approached the writing and recording of Rendition Of You with an intent to make a pop record that would not be easily forgotten. After a few listen-throughs (as well as having had the good fortune of attending a prerelease concert) I can assert that they've succeeded. Rendition Of You is pop music as a kick in the a** or a slap in the face. For every listen-through, details emerge, songs take on an expanded identity. This album is a true grower, and I look forward to spending a lot of time with it.
And: in spite of the excellence of digital music, do yourself a favour: buy a turntable and get the vinyl version.

If you havent already purchased this album, now's the time to do it. Buy or die! Rendition Of You is a must-have album in your collection. This excellent and loud popmusic gives you just the thing you need - well written lyrics, perfect musicians and Anders Tjores magical voice. When you've heard the album a couple of times you will understand what popmusic is all about. Do yourself a favor and buy this album - preferably on the vinyl version. Spread the Montèe word!!
